IMO, this is great news. Just got confirmation that my son and I will be on the sidelines for pregame warmups when our Dolphins are at Jacksonville next week. He knows we are going to the game but he has no idea that I have been working to make this happen for him. Ordering him this shirt today so maybe Cam will see it, come over and say hi to him. Wake is his favorite player so his mind will be totally blown if he gets to meet him.

Can't wait! Over the moon excited, and now just not for the expectations from this season alone. :hump:

It doesn't say though that they can't come and speak to you, which I have seen them do. McCain usually will pick a kid and do something fun with them. So it is possible that Wake will see him and maybe take a photo with him.
 
I had those same pregame sideline warm up passes before. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!
 
Yep. Field passes rock. Get there good and early - sometimes it feels they come and go real quick. Stand near the WR drills and you might get a chance to throw some balls back to the players. Your son will dig "playing catch" with a Fins WR.
 
We were in the stands last year and he was so badly wanted to be down there. Hell, I did as well after I saw Marino out there taking pics with everyone. So hopefully he will be there again this year. This is part of his birthday gift, a make good since he didn't get a party this year. I think this makes up for it.

I am so excited for the season.... but when I just read this I got very excited for you guys... enjoy the experience!!! No matter what it'll be a great memory for your son and you!!!

For sure. It just took that excitement to the next level. Hope it carries over to the field for our team.
