They seem to be "interested" in WR/QB dual threats...

-Pat White
-Tyler Thigpen (Pioli was ready to switch Thigpen to WR. his 40 time is beastly)
-Matt Jones (productive college QB)
-Joshua Cribbs (productive college QB)

I personally feel that the Fins will TRY and trade Matt Roth AND either Tyler Thigpen or Pat White for Cribbs.

Matt Roth BECAUSE...
-Cleveland plays a 3-4 and could use all the help they could get on defense.
Thigpen/White BECAUSE...
-Quinn is on the trading block and is not cutting it
-Derek Anderson had one fluke year and is not cutting it

As much as people think we DONT want Cribbs/Jones for the wildcat, I think the front office is thinking to expand the Wildcat. Now that Cobbs is out for the year, Cribbs or Jones would be perfect for that spot. They're both faster than Cobbs and big too so they could block and be that utility/jack of all trades guy.
 
The Browns and Quinn both deny that he is on the trading block. I am not certain Roth is going anywhere. He can help that secondary with some of the coverage problems i.e. jamming TEs to take them out of the play. He's also solid against the run and a lot younger than JP and JT.
 
Roth might be part of a deal. White won't be going anywhere. Rather have Bowe than Cribbs or Jones.
 
honestly for cribbs, id give roth and thigpen. he would be a WC and PR/KR for us, not wr..
 
thats true too, but we only spent a 5th on thigpen compared to a 2nd on white...

i honestly can not decide wat was dumber
drafting a ST player with a early first rounder,
or a 2nd string, maybe 3rd , undersized QB to run one specific formation in the 2nd.

i really question this. why not trade like a 2nd and 6th and move up a couple picks and get Rey Malaluga,

I see where you're comin from, but there's a lot of football left, maybe White will pay some divends like he did on Mon getting us a first down....I don't see the trifecta giving up on white too quickly

Yeah some D help would've been nice, but we can't change that... I'm sayin White will make some big plays for us in the coming weeks both runnin and passin.... GO Fins!!

How long has it been since that pick happened ?

Get over it already.
 
Roth might be traded.
Thigpen and White aren't going anywhere.
We aren't going after Jones.
