There should be competition at "EVERY" position...

Noone is safe next year... not the coaches, not the Oline, Rb's, Dline and even the chosen one RT... Every spot needs to be EARNED! This is the only way this team can stop being mediocre. There needs to be accountability and a fight in our players. These guys don't remind me of the Dolphins I grew to love. They resemble guys that pick up a pay check and go home after work.
 
They will give the keys to Tannehill regardless. I agree with post. Tanny is no leader. Can not read defence and laughing with Hartline is inexcusable. Brady would be pissed off. No character or leaders on this team. Not one.
 
i gave u a thumbs down elle because i think your overreacting quite a bit. Tannehill, Hartline, Gibson and Clay have all earned a right to start. There are some positions where there should be legit competitions, like the whole o-line and running back. But the guys i mentioned all earned to be starting.

most of the time he is clueless and irrational, ive had a few ok convos with him before but most of the time i feel like he doesnt know what hes talking about and he doesnt watch any other teams play ever.

His football knowledge is laughable at best.
 
It's hilarious when a qb has a bad game this whole board loses it's ****ing mind.

Even Marino had horrid games.
 
Funny how Tannehill takes the blame but he's the guy who threw the best block all day. Amazing

if this is the case, which it pretty much is save a couple of players, ireland has to be fired. you cant be this far along as a GM and in this situation, which we are.
 
Noone deserves to be comfortable. I'm not blaming this on Tannehill. He didn't lose this game, nor did he win it. This was a team wide loss and every player needs to look deep inside and decide what kind of player they want to be. It's weird that these mediocre players garner so much respect from you guys. This franchise has been average for years, yet change scares the poop out of you. Grow up and desire for the franchise to be better and not for individual players proving that you were right about them.
 
The way Tannehill has played in December until today has given my high hopes.

Him having a stinker in buffalo doesn't change that for me.

So why does Tannehill, Hartline, Gibson and Clay need to go? Explain...i mean Tannehill is only top 10 in most passing categories and has the most tds as a dolphin since marino and he will most likely break 4k yards with a crap oline and no run game. Hartline, Gibson and Clay all earned their spots.

I didn't say they need to go, I said there needs to be competition at every position... sheesh.. READ!
