Unlike Cleveland, LA's continuing absense from the NFL, has definitely been advantageous for those of us, focused on watching games played elsewhere.
Back in the day, if it wasn't the Raiders televised, it was a weekly dose of an AFC West Oppnt. Almost as unwavering, as our NFC West affiliation has been despite the Rams departure over a decade ago.
As recently as 2003, it seemed Dolfans here in LA, woke up to watch 10am Miami kickoffs, with such frequency, I would of thought Santa Monica, was as local to Miami as South Beach.
An example I suppose, of how it can vary by season as well.
