If I'm mistaken I apologize but I believe these are the QB stats from the 1972 Dolphins. They're not exactly stellar performances.
Point being: I dont think it matters who QBs these Dolphins and Saban might agree.
There's no rigid formula out there that is designed to put out a championship caliber team.
Certainly, it helps when any player can execute to perfection the fulfillment of game plan that a coach such as Saban sees in his mind's eye.
Thus, I think that any of these three QBs will do just fine, depending on how long it takes for each to fulfill Saban's vision of who he wants behind the center.
I think it's interesting that he is still trying to piece together his team with only a few days until 1st game. He's the best coach-mind this team has ever had, including Shula. This team will be named a dynasty and it's not too far off, even amidst the pressure of doing it in Miami.
