If I'm mistaken I apologize but I believe these are the QB stats from the 1972 Dolphins. They're not exactly stellar performances.

Point being: I dont think it matters who QBs these Dolphins and Saban might agree.
There's no rigid formula out there that is designed to put out a championship caliber team.

Certainly, it helps when any player can execute to perfection the fulfillment of game plan that a coach such as Saban sees in his mind's eye.

Thus, I think that any of these three QBs will do just fine, depending on how long it takes for each to fulfill Saban's vision of who he wants behind the center.
I think it's interesting that he is still trying to piece together his team with only a few days until 1st game. He's the best coach-mind this team has ever had, including Shula. This team will be named a dynasty and it's not too far off, even amidst the pressure of doing it in Miami.

good point. keep in mind we had how many winning seasons behind fiedler.

I would agree. I am not a believer that we need the best QB. Certainly I am not happy with the current three as opposed to some others but they are not the worst. Fiedler has had one of the best winning percentages with a Wanny offense. Last year we stayed in every game but one with absolutely no offense and a negative QB situation which spotted the teams points. I would like to see a young QB like Sage to see what he develops into.

But with the improvements in offense and coaching, and a vastly improved running game and fewer mistakes, we can very easily be a .500 footbal team.
