Where are the Brockamaniacs at. I think it can catch on what do you think.... Detroit Lions.. Watcha gona do when Brockamania runs wild on you... PS.. I'm a Tannehill supporter. Just think it sounds good.. Not trying to start a debate...

It's gonna be fun to watch this place turn on Osweiler the minute he crap the bed. Not saying he will, just saying it will be fun to watch the bi-polar nature of this fourm turn on him like a pack of ravenous dogs.

I know Brock will be Brock sooner or later. I hope later. I'm just asking if it sounds good. I know how Dolphins fans are

how did fitzmagic work out in tampa? you guys are nuts. don't get me wrong Im rooting for him but you guys are nuts acting like he is the next coming

I'm not going to pretend Brock is going to be some kind of revelation at QB or even get us to the playoffs if Tannehill is out for an extended period of time. However, he does have several things going for him that may allow him to be at least a competent game-manager for us and pull out some games:

- He really, really loves playing for Gase. Like deep down in his heart. In an emotional, man-crush kind of way, as if it was all he dreamed about while they were apart. Watch his pressers where he discusses this. He won't want to let Gase down.
- He has learned a lot from his struggles and is humbled. He knows this is a huge opportunity for him.
- He knows the offense very, very well. Having listened to Gase call plays for Manning, possibly even better than Tannehill.
- Say what you will about his arm talent, but he does have a steadying presence and leadership in the huddle that is better than many backups.

As long as he limits his mistakes (the pick 6s, strip sacks, etc.), I think the offense can be fairly successful with him. As far as backups go, he's a pretty good one for this particular team.

And unexpectedly I actually kind of like the guy - he's thoughtful and smart.

Gase, knowing Osweiler's strengths and weaknesses, just needs to put him in situations for him to succeed. A strong dose of Gore/Drake would be a good place to start!

he's only serviceable as a fill in in a sense he won't always totally implode like a Peterman. Dude threw a horrible pick, should have been 6, couldn't throw the ball 10 yards down field and was basically aided to not being horrible by YAC and a good running game.

Brock didn't do anything, he got lucky with 5 yard check downs and great protection because the bears were bad....its the same **** offense we've been running all year moderately improved because we actually had more traditional under center runs. I'm starting think the problem is the play calling.

Oh, you know that's happening. He's still Brock. He'll have a typical Brock game and this place will be back to fire and brimstone. I have no hopes for the season, so I'm just gonna find my fun where I can. On that note...

Happy Broctober to you, sir. :woot:
