GH: Who do you like in this one?

JT: I give the edge to the Bengals. There’s a quarterback change in Miami. It’s a great test for Carson. Jim Bates, Miami’s defensive coordinator, is going to give him a little bit different look than the Jets did. I don’t think he’ll get so much pressure. I think the Bengals have two solid quarterbacks if anything happens to Carson. They can turn to Jon Kitna, who is basically a Pro Bowler. They have a very solid running game, and I’ve always liked how their offensive coordinator, Bob Bratkowski, calls a game. The fact that he has Marvin there, a defensive guy, gives him a bit of a comfort zone They were always limited. Now he can be aggressive, take more chances, and if they have to punt, they punt and not have to worry.

I'm sure if his Pro Bowler Fiedler was playing he'd give us the edge. :lol:

Oh yeah, and he also says the Jets are underrated . . .

JT: I wouldn’t say the defense was bad. I would say the Jets’ offense is very underrated. Santana Moss is a Pro Bowler, Justin McCareins is a Pro Bowler. Curtis Martin is a Pro Bowler. Chad Pennington is an excellent young quarterback. They’re very balanced and I think that is a tough place to play in New York for the Bengals with some young guys on defense. I think when you’re talking about that defense, you’re talking more about 2005, 2006. They’ve got some young talent there that I can see Marvin developing.
 
F--k Joe Theisman! He contradicts himself in the first statement in back to back sentences. :rolleyes: First, he says, "...I don't think he'll get so much pressure."

THEN, he immediately says, "I think the Bengals have two solid quarterbacks if anything happens to Palmer." :shakeno:

I thought Jim Bates' Defense wasn't going to get any pressure?

Miami better step it up this game to end alot of speculation by the media that we can't contend anymore. Well, I believe there are alot of people including me who think the Dolphins could surprise and turn some of those doubting Thomases heads around when we play the Bengals and...

Wow. Someone is being very liberal with the term "pro bowler".
 
Joe T..lol He has repeatedly said that Jay was a pro-bowl talent. I would assume he is smarter than that, so he must have some incentive to say that...rest of the AFC east probably pays him to say that so DW will stick with him.
 
Theismann has hated the Dolphins since his days as a player if not before...one listen to him on Sunday night will definitely prove me right-opinions are like azzh@$*s-everybody has one...and they all stink

SNF used to be so good untill they got rid of that one announcer and brought in the elderly guy whose voice promotes great sleep. They should have gotten rid of Theisman and his insulting style of announcing a game.
 
Thiesman and Mcquire are two bums too wraped up in them selves to call a football game. Joe thinks he needs to go down on the field and tell whatever Qb that is throwing the ball how to do it. Mcquire was a punter. Enuff said.
 
Benglas are the obvous pick, but that means nothing. We have talent on O, and a super D. Bring it on.
 
Curtis Martin is a pro bowler? He was once a pro bowler...but not anymore. I kno some Jets fan will say Z"did u even watch the game last week?!", yes i did, and altho i admitt he looked good...that was one game against the Bengals. The past few seasons show he is no a longer pro-bowl RB..he COULD all of a sudden remerge, but i wouldnt count on it.

Bottom line...Curtis was a pro bolwer, not is. Marino was a pro bowler too, y dont we just bring him back:rolleyes: .
 
OK who had the quote on their sig from Theisman. It rivaled Chris Farley's quote in Tommy Boy of Herbie Han**** on the basis of stupidity!!
 
Theisman has been hit in th ehead one too many times, which leaves no excuse for Saulsbery unless he got a splinter in his head from riding the pine. I am sooooo sick of the media I really dont even watch Sportcenter any more. We lost Ricky and most of an aging and very CRAPPY OL, thats about it. How do we go from a 10-6 team to the worst team in football with the loss of 5 players. We added a QB who can stretch the field, another WR, filled the hole left by Ricky, and added better and much younger talent on the OL. Please tell me where these RETARDS get all this crap from. Just to give you an example of how "Brilliant" these guys are. Everyone at ESPN picked the Braves to be the cellar dwellars of the NL East, and they have a 8 game lead in the division.
