Things That Need To Change

Just a few things that have been bugging me.

A) Sage should get a chance over Lucas at this point. How do you know what you got if you don't try.

B) IF Lucas has to start then why have McKnight as the starter when Lucas is more comfortable with Ward and Ward was already higher on the depth chart to begin with.

C) Minor should be Ricky's backup. Bring in the speed as a change of pace to the power.

I totally agree, but Sage has to be playing well in practice to allow the coaches to make this decision (which Wanne seems unlikely to make) and we have no idea what Sage looks like

totally agree since we are not throwing deep anyway - though McKnight has played well this year when given a chance

With Jay out I do not want to even think about RW's backup- that's like thinking about the 2003 draft/UFA season early

I like minor's speed but Edwards has looked really good when he comes in.. Minor is doing great on return's IMHO

Minor Can Really help us out if Defenses are constantly switching their schemes to counteract speed and power they will be off balance

IMagine this formation: Weaver at TE, RIcky a FB and Minor at HB, SCREEN play to the left Nails and Weaver Blocking ahead and Ricky blocking for Minor. Minor Catching the ball

I like the idea of Ricky at fullback.. how bout this play... same formation as above.. fake the handoff to Ricky going left... then turn around and flip the ball to Minor going right... he has enough speed to get out side... and the D will most likely be keying in on Ricky... you could even run it a couple times... giving it to Ricky sometimes and Minor others.. and even faking both and droping back to hit Chamber on a deep post... would certainly keep them guessing...

I disagree- Ricky has enough speed and more than enough power - it is just a matter of getting Ds to back off the LOS w/some success in the passing game.

39 we already no we are not going to have a successful passing game for a handfull of Games to come, So obviously The Brain(NORV) needs to come up with something to get this Running game some running room, in the last 2 games we have only run 3 misdirection plays all for 1st downs. Norv is hear for a reason and he needs to sart earning his pay.

Predator we can also line up the back field with 3 backs,RICKY, ROB and Travis, and we can run so many plays out of that formation: Option, Sweep, Dive, Leads and misdirection.

that will help Ray Lewis' tackling stats though Lucas is probably a better wishbone QB than he is a NFL Qb :evil:
