Okay so there is an obvious lull in these forums right before the draft! The quiet before the storm so to speak....so lets just do a little recap(since any other subject would be a repeat anyways) of things that we think to be certainty. Anyone feel free to disagree or refute!

1. If Brady Quinn is available with the 9th selection we are going to take him.

2. If Brady Quinn is available with the 6th pick there is a high probability that we will select him via a trade up and if they do not then number 1 on this list.

3. Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas, JaMarcuss Russell, and Gaines Adams are the 4 players likely not to be around when its Miami's turn to pick.

4. Miami is going to select a Quarterback with one of their first 3 picks whether it be Quinn, Stanton, Kolb, Edwards, or Beck.

5. Miami will address the O-Line early in this draft.

6. The Dolphins will trade down if it is an option barring Brady Quinn still being there with the ninth pick.

7. One of Landry, Peterson, Brown or Quinn is going to fall to the Dolphins.

8. This year's draft cannot be any worse than last years!

Please feel free to add what I missed and refute what I said! Thats what these forums are for.

Agree for the most part.

re: 3. If Cleveland doesn't take Quinn, they WILL take Peterson so he will be gone.

re: 6. I don't see a trade down happening.

Good points. I didn't include Peterson because there is a very real chance that Cleveland take Quinn. I only included players in that list that really have absolutely no chance of falling to the Phins if they stay at number 9.

If they can't trade down from 9 yeah BPA which may include Willis. and I wouldnt be devastated about that!

7. Yes... so no point in trading up and giving up another first day pick!

Willis would be a good choice but so would Staley. I think the Dolphins have Staley higher on their board than Brown.

The best scenario by far is the trade down. The only better scenario is trading down twice.

10. if miami cant trade down from 9 they will select BPA!

blah blah blah...

You mean best offensive player available. It's just unrealistic to draft a defensive lineman at number 9 for example. Mueller and Cameron have more common sense than that...

It seemed, that during Mueller's tenure in NOLA, the Saints took a DL more often than not.

I will be utterly sick if they take Joe Staley at 9. I actually really like what I see out of him and I think he can be a great player, but it seems like about the worst possible outcome for me, at least as far as draft day "excitement" goes.

im still holding out hope for robert meachum in round 2 his size will make him a force in the red zone, and most of our successfull passes last year were short pops that the reciver took for a long gain. Meachum has the size to beat down dbs and pick up the yac oh yeah baby we want the yac

-Willis is a 4-3 guy and would not fit in the Dolphins scheme. He is a great player but his stats are exagerrated because no one else on the Ole Miss defense could tackle.

1) Great players fit in any scheme.

2) Don't knock a true playmaker because he's surrounded by inferior teammates.
