Things To Do On My Weekend In Miami

Lol reminds me of a time that my buddy left his phone in an uber in Miami, and then recruited my best friend and me to drive down to Miami from West Palm Beach the next day to retrieve it.

He tracked his iphone to a house, which ended up being in a pretty sketchy area. We get there and the phone is in plain view in the back of the car. We knock on the door and nobody answers. So now the 3 of us are stuck waiting outside this random person's house for almost a half hour until someone came to the door and unlocked the car.

One of the few times in my life I thought I should have been strapped.
That could have been bad.

Please go to South Beach my friend. Make sure to start in the day and walk the beach. Then at night walk in or slow drive down Ocean Drive in traffic. It is like another world some times.

Hollywood beach is nice but it is definitely not the same atmosphere as Ocean Drive on most nights.

All kinds of the most beautiful people in one of the most beautiful places on
earth. It is like going to a club without doing so.

As a person who has lived in Miami most of my life, I ask that if you do nothing else in Miami, I ask that you please do this. You wont regret it.

Please come back and share your experience when you get back home.

One more which is a must a double cuban sandwich at Enriquetas sandwich shop is a must, only open during the day and prepare to wait a few minutes.

Last time I was in Miami we stayed in an art deco hotel on South Beach, which was great if you want the glitz and the glamour and is great for people watching and obviously the beach is awesome too. The hotel had lots of Scarface paintings on the wall was generally just a cool vibe.

We returned 2 weeks later and stayed in an aprtment in Brickell which was a really nice surprise. To see the architecture of all the skyscrapers (I'm from the UK) along the waterfront was really cool. And there was a new shopping mall just opened which was indoors and outdoors, it really incorporated the buildings around it. There were plenty of nice restraunts in this area and it felt very safe at night.
