I figured this was worth separating out so we could get a clear picture of the organization. As an insider, he was privy to a lot of stuff. He seemed to be speaking as an extension of Richie Jr. This is all assuming he was speaking the truth, and not just trying to throw out dirt to make his son look better.

  • Martin was suicidal. The organization seemingly knew this (if Richie Sr. was able to know this) yet allowed a hostile environment to persist around a suicidal man, and did not push this man to take a leave of absence until his psychological issues could be dealt with. In addition to that, they placed this suicidal man in one of the most stressful positions in the entire NFL without a reasonable backup plan if things didn't work out.
  • Pouncey does illicit drugs. The organization is seemingly aware of this, but turns a blind eye.
  • Incognito has no respect for Ireland or Philbin. If Incognito had no respect for them, it can be assumed that some others share view of the FO.
  • Bullying was present in the locker room. Players like Incognito were seemingly aware of Martin's suicidal tendencies, but continued to harrass him anyway, rather than offer emotional support

Was there anything else?

If even a fraction of these things are true, it is evident that this is a ship without a captain. This is a team utterly devoid of leadership at all levels. If these things are found to be true, Ross may have no other choice but to clear out this regime and install a figurehead for this team that displays strong leadership ala Dan Marino or Jon Gruden.

I think one thing for sure if this continues down this path we can expect a completely new front office. The only man left standing will be Ross himself.

I don't know if Incognito's lack of respect for Joe Philbin means anything.

I don't think Richie respects just about anyone. That's kind of clear.

For the record, Hayden Fox wanted Brian Billick or Mike McCoy and loved the idea (but understood it would not happen) of Jeff Fisher getting hired. lol.

How can we presume any of this is actually true? Incognito Sr. could just be trying to stir up more controversy,

...and one lady...Dawn Aponte. She is like Elliot Ness...untouchable (for some reason)

Sigh....It's tough being a Dolphins fan..even when you win games. smh

Potential of "Going Postal"

several suicide attempts, possibly more gun-to-head acting out, mental imbalance possibly exacerbated by drugs.

IMO, access to gun + drug rage + nothing to live for + seething anger = very real workplace danger of "Going Postal"

Well, he said Martin is in rehab. Considering that the initial reports were that Martin was 'in a facility,' I think there might be some truth to what Richie Sr. had to say.

This is going to get very, very, very ugly as this all comes out.

This whole deal just has me sick to my stomach. It's bad enough that we as Dolphins fans have to settle for a mediocre win-loss record every freaking season, but now we have to deal with this kind of crap as well. Cripes, this franchise has truly become a gol-damn freaking 3-ring circus.

Did it ever dawn on anyone that:

a. This is not his father or;
b. If it is dear old dad he is blowing this out of the water much like the press is?

It's definitely his dad. The evidence is pretty convincing (IMO) and as soon as he got outed, he started deleting his posts.

Doesn't 3-0 seem like a long, long time ago?

There is usually an element of truth in rants like these...

Ya, he could be completely making **** up, but when people are backed into a corner and trying to protect themselves or a loved one, they will drag others down with some sordid things others did wrong in an effort to make themselves look better by comparison.
