Namath is one of the most overrated players ever, but he was hardly crappy.

The Giants beat the Pats with a running team and Great Defense.
Sanchez came close twice. I'll take a couple of AFC Championship appearances.
Trent bleeing Dilfer won a super bowl, TRENT DILFER!!! If Chad Henne can just grow into a solid quarterback and our defense plays as good as I for one think its going to, then there is no reason Miami will be a team to fear in the AFC with the talent we already have. I really think the Defense is going to carry us this season and you know what, I don't have that much of a problem with that. Thats still what wins Super Bowls. GO FINS!
Thanks for letting me rant.
Almost doesn't count. And really? I'd be pissed if they lost those games.
LOL
Does everyone realize that the NFL has changed since these QB's won a Super Bowl with rock star defenses?
The NFL has changed so many rules to give the offenses the upper hand because OFFENSE SELLS to the casual fan. Guys like me, still very much appreciate a damn good defensive game. But defenses can't play the same way that they did when Baltimore and Tampa ****-kicked everyone years ago.
This is now a QB league. Pass pass pass. Look around fellas. The ground game is even becoming less and less of a factor these days. It's the reason why stud running backs like Mark Ingram slip all the way to the late 20's. It's not the same.
Wake up.
Why did the Jets beat the Colts in wild card round of last postseason. I assure you it was not the high power offense. You can get to the playoffs and win a wild card weekend game with an awesome defense and mediocre offense.

Hahaha. So you prefer the overwhelming ****ty performances week in and week out
from this ****ty *** team over consecutive AFC championship appearances? Wtf is
wrong with you?
I prefer WINNING. Settling for appearances in the AFC championship is still not good enough for me.
