Im so excited for next season with the possiblity of Brees coming in. Think about it...Chambers, McMichaels, Brown, Brees, TO(?)...Plus we can draft O-line or D with the 16th pick in the draft.

Miami Dolphins #1

I'm with ya. Where finally headed in the right direction.

I'm excited as long at TO doesn't come.

Why people are in such a dang hurry to destroy
this football team, I just don't know.:shakeno:

I know, I know....Though he destroyed the Niners and
the Eagles, he won't to that to Miami, right?:shakeno:

You forgot to mention what he did to the Ravens.

Much as I will be excited too, some of you think this is a done deal....don't be too let down if it's not done....

Brees STILL hasn't been released by the Bolts and they are still negotiating a contract. And even if he's let loose, whats to say other teams (Jests, Raiders, Detroit, Cards, Browns, etc) won't get into the fray for him....let's not count our chickens before they hatch...you just might end up with scrambled eggs...

I feel that we'll end up getting someone better at QB this off season, and with that person, we'll be able to win 10 or 11 games.

Look at who's out there.

Brees
Culpepper
McNair
Simms
Ramsey (some people were beggin for him last year)
Griese (I liked him the first time, and reports are that he may be released if he won't restructure)
Pennington (Don't like him, don't want him, but he's out there)

Any of those guys would be an upgrade over Gus.. I'm not saying I would take some of them, but with all the QB talent out there this year, I think we have a good chance of atleast picking up SOMEONE before the draft.

:dolphins: i have a strange feeling that were not getting brees just b/c we all want him so bad. i'd be happy w/mcnair,or mcown just not as happy:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

I mean come on, GRIESE had him failed, RAMSEY couldn't beat out old man BRUNNEL, CULPEPPER tore his whole knee in half more issues then TO, PENNINGTON = garbage, Mc NAIR nothing more then the vet minimum...
BREES is the only option out of your group.. And even he has issues with his shoulder....
SABAN will make the right choice don't worry:dolphins:

Just adding Brees would be very good.

Then if we can pick up a couple starters in the OL & the DB's through Free Agency and the draft we will have a very good team.

i wouldnt mind getting TO if it is only a one year deal and we get Brees. With a 1 year deal, he wont be whining about his contract, he would have an incentive to be on his best behavoir as he will be playing for a contract and if h does become a disruption, Saban will just cut his arse.

I remember when we got David Boston, that his numbers at SD weren't as high because Brees didn't have the arm strength to throw it down field to him. Now he's coming off of shoulder surgery that could take away somemore of that arm strength. Why are we so hot on him and not waiting to see how his shoulder might be healing?

Because Rich Gannon came back from the same surgery 5 years ago to become MVP and he said his shoulder was stronger than ever.

Also Boston didn't do well because he was locker room cancer not to mention this was before Brees got used to the NFL game.
