Think our oline is bad? The Jets are in trouble..

I was comparing the 2011 Jets to the 2010 Jets.

Comparing our teams:

QB: edge Jets
RBs: Jets
OL: Jets
TE: Jets
WRs: even(our ceiling is higher, your guys are safer).

DL: Miami
LBs: even
DBs: Jets

K: Miami
P: Miami

STs coverage/returns: Jets
coaching: Jets

experience: Jets


We have a decent sized edge. Miami has talent and if some of their questions are answered positively they can compete for a playoff spot but they aren't an AFC contenderlike the Jets are.

Question, how can we say the Jets RB's are better? Can't come to a verdict on that yet.

Well thats the thing . . . upside is only being factored with the Jets . . . if the Jets are more stable at a position . . . they get the nod, if the Fins are more stable but the Jets have some young talent/upside . . . Jets will get "same" or "nod".

There is no right or wrong answer, and it isn't played on paper. Three areas for the fins need improving. QB, OLine and coaching. You give me improvement in those 3 areas this year . . . and the sky is the limit.

any of these groups can go the other way, this is just going into the season. reggie Bush has a rusher has not been good in this league and the rookie needs to prove himself.

Trent is one of my favorite "experts" and not b/c of what he said about sanchez. he doesn't just spout off meaningless #s like most "experts".

I didn't factor in upside for any, I said WRs were even but our celing was higher. Going into the season we are better at most positions, that could change. We'll see if Miami dramatacially improves and if the Jets take a step back.
