So who is the idea, some what realistic, option as the third back in the Ajayi, Drake and ???? trio? I'm thinking a power back, inexpensive, can play special teams if needed type is the best fit. Maybe with Baltimore having so many backs, Lorenzo Taliaferro would be a nice option.

Assuming you're right, for now, Pead or Thomas. I'm leaning toward Miami signing another veteran power RB but names are premature. I DON'T think it will be Foster.

Hello! We still have Danny Thomas and "Matt" Damien Williams on the roster. So we're 100% certified LOADED @RB.

Next question.

BNF.

I'm ok with Williams as the fourth back. Would really like another power back to challenge Thomas. I also like James Wilder jr. and Zac Stacy as possible options.

For someone to replace Thomas as the 3rd back, they will have to show they are as good as he is in pass protection and that will mostly likely be a veteran.

What ever happened to that guy?

A few years ago he was a star in the CFL, winning the MVP in the Grey Cup game. He signed with Oakland shortly after that but was waived a couple of years ago and is presently a free agent.

Would not be surprised to see Grant get some action in the backfield, either by jet sweeps, screens, maybe even the odd hand off or two. Could be a match up nightmare for backers trying to defend him coming out of the backfield.

I would have to think that HC & OC has a plan already in mind for this kid.

I'm shooting for the stars and hoping Pead has matured and become serious about his last chance in the NFL, and becomes the running back he was expected to be when he was drafted.

Ya I know it's a longshot, but YOLO.:brewskis:
