This 1 quote has me fired up....

Loved what he said in the press conference. I also liked his comment of "we are going to go through you" When he spoke of the mentality the players had to have with winning the 1 on 1's during games.

Certainly better than Philbin's "we'll try to tiptoe politely around you."
 
be nice to have a former tight end running the show, maybe we can actually run the ball on some first downs, or better yet run it all all
 
I do not have high expectations, but we will learn the players that can step up their game. We know that Landry is all heart. Let's see if anyone else will walk the walk.
 
I think he was referring to how he wants the players to act with that quote, but he had a lot of great quotes in that presser.
 
yeah im not expecting much as far as wins but im hoping we wont be baby poop soft like the first 4 weeks. come out and show some fire and heart and try to win instead of just getting you butts kicked and walking away with your tail tucked

It'd be a big improvement if the players stopped moping around on the field. That'd be huge.

Jarvis Landry plays his ass off, full of heart and intensity. BUT, he should NOT stand out. That's the way this team needs to play. They haven't had that because it's been a culture of failure for eons now.

Why was Cameron Wake ever great? Because he played like a starving dog chasing a kill. This team has become as slack-jawed as Philbin's agape stare.
 
I like his fire! he's a in your face type of guy! He means business, I believe he didn't want to really work for Philbin, because he was to conservative. If you notice DC made mention of this quite a few time of being to conservative.
