I was thinking today about how much this season reminds me of that abysmal 2004 season. Here our some similarities I found:

1) Offensive Line play - it seems like our QBs were hitting the deck a lot in 04 and it's the same way now. I still have that image of teammates congratulating Feeley and he jumped with pain when he got the slap on the butt.
2) No Ricky - in 04 Ricky was camping out in India taking bong rips, and now he's getting nagging injuries across the border.
3) Trade for a QB - we expended a 2nd Round pick for a QB that was supposed to be an upgrade. Feeley clearly was not, but the jury is still out on Culpepper.
4) QB loyalties - in 04 and this year, it seems like fans are split in their support of a QB. Some support the starter, and others are calling for a Tedford product from Oregon.

The major differences are that we now have Ronnie Brown and Saban is leading this charge and not Wannstache. Hopefully the Phins can right ship and get things together, but win or lose, I'm still savoring every Sunday of the season because come February, I'll be hurting.

SPOOKY:evil: :rolleyes2

yea tell me about it.

The houston game was classic 2004, the defense sets us up for 3 quarters and the finally just cant take no support from the offense.

Don't forget Wade Smith is not our Left Tackle. :dolphins:

Interesting...

That is pretty eerie, the difference is though that 2004 was the end of an era and this year is just the beginning.

But not in the W-L deparment. But don't worry, that will change. GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

nick said that this was going to be a building process. this offseason we made upgrades in some positions, next year he will improve more. the fact is that it take time to build great teams. Look at the ravens this year. They put an old injury prone qb in their system, who is doing good, but isn't really a long term fix. Nick is looking to make the long term fixes.
