It seems as though the slowness of the off season combined with the excitement of the upcoming season may be having detrimental effects to some of the posters on this board. Suddenly, everyone is making a big deal of the pasts of some of our new players. I ask you, how many of these players has commited these offenses under Saban's reign? Williams was tossed out on his ear and McMichael will be penalized if found guilty.
I'd like our team to be clean just like everyone else. It's good in the eyes of the kids and the public. However, to have MY team win the super bowl I would be willing to tolerate a few players that are ex-nazi's that wear hollowed out kittens as condoms. As long as that player performs and behaves as a Dolphin that's all I will ask as a fan. AND, if he doesn't then Saban will deal with him accordingly.
Let's stay excited about an upcoming year of football! All of these bad notes on these players records will vanish from our memory as soon as we score the first TD! Let's get excited about the reality of our team: Ronnie and Ricky at HB. A Hudson Houck led Offensive line. Chambers, McMike, Boston, and Bokker as receivers. A Scott Linehan Offense! Roth lined up opposite JT. Crowder learning LB from Seau and Zach. Even our weakened secondary will benefit from not only retaining the Secondary coach from last year but that is Saban's territory as well. We have Welker returning the rock (and I have seen that he is a threat in the passing game at the Mini Camp). Looks like some good reasons to be excited. Has there ever been a team with so much talent on the roster?
