This CBA situation just keeps seeming worse and worse

I didn't realize there were ramifications for the existence NFL draft......

"Also, the NFL draft will go away in 2008 as part of a clause inserted into the current CBA. Players coming out of college could be free agents, with no salary restrictions. Open negotiations, including those for rookies coming out of college, will leave it to the players to get what they can get."

This really sucks any way you look at the situation. The players and owners are a bunch of morons for letting it come to this.:shakeno:

It'll be like college football, more about recruiting and location than smart picks and skillful money management. Which would probably be fine for us, but would take so much fun out of the game.

Anybody feel so down right now? I feel pretty heart broken that our game of football has come to this. My only hope is that things still work out even if we lose the cap and draft. I guess it will be like european soccer
