People aren't factoring in everything, it seems. We have made some big improvements on defense and got a great RB. Factor in MUCH MUCH better coaching and there is no reason to believe this team can't go 10-6. If you ask me, that is very realistic. This team, minus the new additions made, would go 8-8 under the new coaching staff. So you have to think the upgrades AND DRAFT PICKS would at least be worth another two wins.

Yeah, I have said this whole offseason that coaching cost us 4 games last year. Whether that means bad play calling, bad game-plan (see NYJ MNF), or a bad blocking scheme.

No the draft money is allocated to the cap at the beginning of the offseason based on the picks from years contracts. We added a mid 2nd Roth probably will account for less than 1 mill of that 6 this season.

Maybee you aren't factoring in everything. Our defense was ranked in the top ten last year, and we lost 12 games. We gave up 26 ints most in the NFL, 52 sacks 2nd most in NFL, and averaged 83 ypg on the ground 2nd worse in the NFL. Although Saban, and Ronnie Brown are great starts they can't fix all of these problems by themselves. If Ferrotte gets the start, McDougal, can play like he did a couple years ago, and guys like Carey come up big I will eat my words and be verry happy.
