Overpaying for guys like Alonso, Timmons and Branch is hurting the team. The LBing corps needs a serious upgrade. Also trade either Jones or McDonald and draft a real Free Saftey. Having two guys back there that can't cover is a huge liability. Explore replacing Burke with a proven Defensive Coordinator if one is available.

We haven't done much in the last two drafts to help our defense. We end up plugging holes with guys WAY past their prime or overpay guys that no longer earn their money. We must get better at the draft and start drafting play makers and not prospects that might pan out in a few years (who seem not to be doing that).
