How do you have two, not one but two receivers with over 1200 hundred yards receiving with two games to go and still be fighting for a playoff spot. Say what you want about Tua ( yea, it's really been not great lately) but come on, something else is going on. I don't this has ever happen in the NFL.

They’re special players. And Tua has had some brilliant QB play, even the first half today was awesome. But you can’t be that inconsistent. And it’s been 4 games in a row now

In 2002, how did we have the best RB with the best rushing attack and a top 10, maybe top 5 defense and not make the playoffs? Same reason as this year. Average QB

Big plays. Not enough consistent scoring drives overall. QB missed 3 games with injury. Pooped the bed in 3-4 last ones. Plus bad defense. And there you go, 7 losses.

Bridgewater and Thompson losing games didn’t help. But Tua has been here the last 4 losses so that excuse is only half-correct.

Tyreek Hill is a generational player, and Waddle could have potentially become the best receiver in franchise history if we didn’t acquire Hill.

They’re special players. Special players have special seasons sometimes in spite of their otherwise garbage teams/coaching staffs.

Without those 2, we are fighting for a top 5 pick right now as we never even have the urge to do the stupid trade for Chubb, which has now crippled us at QB in 2023.

They’ll be amazing again next season. And we’ll be average again.

I think it’s because that’s ALL we have. Literally no other back, TE or WR has contributed much on offense. So Hill and Waddle are special, yes. Tyreek Hill is a 1st ballot HOFer. But our brilliant coach doesn’t realize you need more than 2 guys getting all of the yards in order to be consistently successful.

It’s a dolphins probably another first or record we will get. To beast Receivers breaking all the records on the shitty ass team that can’t make the playoffs.

Sherfield was crushing it in crucial 3rds today. Smythe is good blocking but thats about it. Wilson looked like he was getting back to form and Mostert was seeing holes. We absolutely need a blocking TE that can catch. Or do more passes to RBs in the flat. The offense scheme is just stale and predictable. It's starting to appear that McDaniel is suspect here.

Agreed. I didn’t mean the other players aren’t good. We’re just not distributing balls enough IMO
