I really hope our receivers get hungry.

This is for those who can't visualize the "getting after the ball" issue.

yeah, i wasn't too pleased with the effort to "go get the ball." a lot of the phins' receivers seem to wait on it.

You know what impresses me about Randy Moss (of course) Is his ability to wait on the ball then change position and then go up and get the Damn ball! Granted there is only one Randy Moss however the tenique isnt a guarded secret! Just get the ball.

Too bad he can't run a route or apply himself enough to maximize his whole potential.

Although Boston deserves some of the blame on that play lets remember that was a horribly underthrown ball that he had to adjust to. Boston had his man beat and if the pass had met him in stride that was six points. Instead he had to stop, adjust and leap which he did rather pitifully.

I really doubt that picture tells the whole story.how do you know the ball wasnt under thrown?there are so many scenerios that could have taken place just before the picture was snapped.

Maybe this is his fault too, but I thought Boston looked off-balance or at least out of step right before he had to turn and go up for that ball. Being at the wrong point in your stride can make anyone useless for a split second. The Chambers drop, on the other hand, I can't see any particular reason for.

That's a good point. I've played receiver and that is absolutely true that depending on when you get a bead on the trajectory can determine your jumping ability. However to be fair he didn't extend his arms above his shoulders and that was where Boston fault lies on the play. If it was a good pass however he had his man beat and could have caught it in stride for six

NO EXCUSE.

NONE.

Biggest receiver in the league and he doesn't attack the ball?

I watched that play. We all did. He waited for it. Simple as that.

Dude that Boston. And yeah the ball was under thrown but still that is a bad effort.
