You do realize that they both turned Miami down because they wouldn't guarantee their contracts?! They don't want to waste their time coming down here for nothing and being let go after 2 weeks. If the contract was gauranteed, he'd be in a Dolphin uni....You honestly thought he turned Miami down because the franchise is so bad? Funny

Everybody knows we will have a new hc and hopefully gm next year, and the first thing they'll do is go after their own QB in the draft, so they know they're nothing more than a stopgap here. And that would be fine for many, but I'm sure they're scared of getting permanently injured behind that o-line, throwing to receivers who have probably already quit on the year. Honestly, what qb would agree to play here now?

I think this is obvious to most everybody but it is so much easier and a lot more fun just to slam the team.
I can't wait to see Devlin brought up from the practice squad and get a chance.

Funny I missed that part of the report or any report claiming the offer was turned down over guarantee or starting job! Seems like more HOMER speculation defending a limp regime to me!

Yeah i'm not so sure it's that obvious!! I'm willing to bet that most think Miami is getting turned down by these two because Miami isn't a "desirable" place to play. They want guaranteed money, not a 2 week tryout

Hate to break it to you but Delhoume just fleece the Browns for almost 20 mil for a years work! I am sure he is more worried about A. Resurrecting his career and B. Living!
