I know the Bucs nearly beat the Seahawks last week so I'm certainly not taking them lightly. But, they are a winless team, and I think this week is the perfect time to play a not so strong opponent. A win on Monday night could show the team and the world that they can overcome all of the adversity and distractions that have plagued them this week, pull together as a team, and get the win. It doesn't matter that the Bucs are winless. A win this week I believe will make this team stronger and would bode well for the rest of the season.

Of course, on the flip side, a loss to the winless Bucs, with everything going on, would be disastrous to the team and send them on a downward spiral... all the way to a housecleaning at the end of the season.

So, with us at 4-4, this is the ultimate make or break game in my opinion. This game will show us if we are a true team or an impending disaster.

If the Dolphins, Martin, and Incognito can somehow cool off and find a solution that stops the leaks and ends this story where it is, and the team wins some games, this season can definitely be salvaged.

Big ifs, though.

This is why this game scares me. We're vulnerable and the Bucs must be fired up about nearly getting a close win over a "top" opponent. This could be a spring board one way or another, but I hope it's in a positive direction. 3-0 seems like it happended a season ago right now.

I think it's more likely that they'll come out flat after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory AGAIN.

this game scares me. I don't see our team being prepared for this game even with the 11 day break

I am no expert for sure. But how does this silly fiasco have anything to do with winning or losing a game?

Do the players work less because of it? Does the media have anything to do with how a team plays? If anything is apparent in human nature, it is to rise to the occasion.
It is a human trait to fight adversity.
I just don't get you guys. I really don't understand how any of this effects how the team plays. I do understand the 0-Line is patchwork. But that is no reason to expect a complete flop by the team.

Bucs missing a stud Olineman too.
I would say the 11 days helps, but we had 2 weeks to prepare for a home game against the Bills.
But if it allows Dimitri Patterson to get healthy its huge

If the team is really behind Cog as much as it seems in their reports they will be ready to go out and destroy the Bucs. Never underestimate emotion in sports, especially a chip on the shoulder or defending on of your own.

We are in the same spot we were in going into the Bengals game, a must win, we lose this game this thing is going to blow up, we win we survive until the next week...after seeing how we fought for our lives last week, it might be a good thing for this team going into the 2nd half of the season.....

I agree 100%, if Miami wins, it will not matter what the media has to say, the players and coaches will starting riding the win, and forget what happened this week, but on the flipside, if the lose, this team will be done.
