Terrence Cody - Alabama 6'5" 385# NT. Why do I think that? Ferguson is turning 35 and Solali was suspended 2 twices this season. Like we drafted our back bone in offense last year. This year is the man in the middle. I hope is there for us.

I have heard a bit about the guy... would like to get a look for myself... against a good offensive line.

YouTube anyone?

How is this guy going to be our first pick of the draft when he is going back to school for his senior year. He knows he needs to get into better physical condition and he also didn't like the way he performed after injurying his knee.

he is staying in school. please do ur research before making a new tread about a senior. also he was very very quiet in games this season which is almost unfathomable considering his body. he needs another year in college, thats what he is doing and i wouldnt be surprised if he is a top 5 pick next year.

Yeah, when he finds out that the Tuna is interested in him and that his a possiable first round pick. I'll guarantee you he will change his mind. But let see what we do on free agency first.

I did my homework. Remember this college guys when they see first round pick why gamble. Look what happened to Brian Bhrom. If he came out one year early he was going to be a first round. He decided to stay and was a late second. That cost him money. I tell you if his approach by teams and they talk under the table he will change his mind.

he would be a late first this year and with the build of a NT that he has he isnt going to fall that much in next years draft. bama lost their bowl game and this guy is a real winner he said he was going to stay before the game, loosing the game only makes his chances of staying greater. 6-3 360 NT's dont fall that far, someone will take him in the first round no matter what year he comes out. plus he had an off year this year and still a first round pick, next year with a dominant year he would be top 5 guarenteed. so u didnt do that much hw. and parcells will have nothing to do with this kids choice thats just stupid to think.

Read well my friend and dont put word that are not there. I never said Parcell will do something to change his mind. I said if he find out the Parcell might be very interested in him anything could happen. His not going to say his coming out during after a game. Yes his a for sure top 5 pick in 2010. That is if he doesnt get injure and falls to 4 round. there is always a possibility.

Notice that during that game against Utah, Cody was nowhere to be found. We get teams that spreads us out and throws the ball, Cody is absolutely useless. Give me a guy like BJ Raji that can play all 3 downs and I'll be much happier. Cody needs to stay in school drop 30lbs and show that he can play both against the run and pass and he'll be in much better shape coming into the NFL.

im so sick of these fans who dont understand the draft. you cant just "give me" any player you want they have to there when we are picking. Raji is the best DT in the draft regardless even if Cody was coming out. Raji will be taken before we pick. its like every person on the board screaming for Rey maulua or Crabtree. we have lots, lots of needs and we arent trading picks because there isnt one piece of the puzzle left, there are several.

even if teams do spread us out that is what we want, rather than have them run all over us. a 3-4 NT isnt sopposed to be getting sacks or disrupting the pass game consistantly, its not the point of the system. the point of the system is to stop the run, force them to pass, have NT and big DT/DE eat up blockers so that blitzing OLB's can force pressure and hope fully they dont complete the passes before we get that pressure. if you want to disrupt the passing game by getting pressure in the backfield ask for a OLB not a NT. but NT is our biggest need because if you cant stop the run you will lose.

He won't because he's more knowledgeable about his own strengths and weaknesses than more fans are. Just because he is 360+ lbs, that does not make him a great prospect at NT. Cody knows that size alone will not suffice and knows he needs to get into better shape as well as improve his technique.

Cody is not a sure fire top 5 pick in 2010 because of his lack of conditioning and his performance the last month of season. A lot of fans thought Michigan's Alan Branch was going to be a sure top 10 pick and he fell all the way to the second round.
