That Miami announcing crew is a pure and utter disgrace. No, I'm not talking about Cefalo, Rose and Mandich, I'm talking about those clowns on CBS. Sure, Nat and Bob were terrific Dolphins and I respect everything they did on the field, but being forced to watch and listen to them felt like torture. Not only were they surprisingly uninformed about the team and its players, but they also felt the need to banter endlessly like a bunch of old woman. "Bob, you look young.."... "What do you mean I look young? Aren't I young?" Blah blah. Some of their finest moments:
-"The Dolphins selected Vontae and Smith in the draft's first 29 picks!" -Bob Griese. Umm... Really?
-"Joey Porter has... umm... let me see here... he has a lot of sacks too!" -Bob Griese. Umm... Care to be more specific?
There were at least 5 times where one of them said something that made me laugh in disgust, or just shake my head. Anyone agree?
Disclaimer: now that I think about it, Nat Moore actually had some valid points to make... Maybe Bob is the problem. Then again, Nat did continue to refer to Holt as "Terry" Holt.
