[h=1]Kelvin Sheppard must carry Dolphins' injury-decimated linebacker unit[/h]
750x422-1.jpg

The Miami Dolphins will likely have to play without two of their starting linebackers against the Dallas Cowboys. Because of Miami’s rash of injuries at linebacker, Kelvin Sheppard (center), the team’s starting inside linebacker, will be playing significantly more snaps. (Matt Rourke / AP)

Hoops, I agree with your sig about getting a real Mike in there. Can we please do that in the next draft?

Ahahaha the doomsday headline. I have to wonder where we'd be this year if Kendricks had fallen to us or if we'd moved up the few spots to get him. I still believe Parker/Phillips will pay off for us in the long run, but a Kevin Johnson/Kendricks draft would have made a huge and immediate impact on this team. But then Philbin might still be around and that would have been the worst possible scenario.

well on the bright side at strong you can hide vigils air craft carrier fluidity hips more than you can at mike

and that's about all the bright side of things there is to be found when it comes to the state of our lb core this week

It seems for every decent play Sheppard makes, he makes about 7 bad ones. He is always getting trampled and that's when he's even near the play. Many times he's not even close to where he should be.

Definitely need a real Mike from the draft next year.... Myles Jack or Ragland will do.... Unless Hargraeves falls to us (and he won't) one of those two have to be the pick. This defense will look a HELL of a lot better if we have a legit Mike eating off the plate that Suh sets... But we have to make due with what we have right now. Pumped for Dallas this Sunday!

I am not concerned. They will be hitting Witten in the seam all day. Bryant all ove our DB's. I doubt they will stick to the run.
Im hoping for a monster game from our dline, and the offense comes to life this week.
We will need all the points we can get.

What I'd like to know is why wasn't this addressed in the last draft? And how about the Guard position; why did they ignore that, too? The idiots used their first two draft picks on positions that weren't a necessity. I sure hope that Ross cleans house this time.
