For those of us fortunate enough to watch all the games this team has played this season, lets put some prespective on what we have all witnessed.

Folks, lets not underestimate how SPECIAL this group of football players are. What they accomplished today was the culmination of something truly REMARKABLE.

This is a team that years from now will be an insperation to THOUSANDS of people, likely millions. This team will be talked about for at least a couple of generations for all kinds of people searching for hope or insperation. How many high school coaches can you imagine telling their players that they CAN accomplish something special despite the rough season they endured last year?

Yea folks. This is one of those special things that you will talk about for years to come. Truly amazing. If youre fortunate enough to have a grandchild one day, you know youre going to tell them about the time the MIAMI DOLPHINS won only 1 game for an entire season, then the following year they won a division championship.

Moral of the story..........Great things can be accomplished in as little as one year if you put forth the tremendous effert it takes to acheive them.

The 2008 Miami Dolphins. One of the greatest stories EVER told.

Congratulations and THANK YOU to each and every one of the players, coaches, front office, and team staff who worked their ***** off for the last 12 months to put this thing together. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. You have made us all VERY PROUD to be a fan of this great organization. :up::):hi5:

this team has shown so much heart and they've fought so hard and they also believed all the time.
To me that's an real inspiring story.. from worst to first !

just believe in yourself and don't listen to those who are doubting you !
 
A truly remarkable accomplishment indeed. Let's hopefully keep it going by winning another 4 more games to make it a truly historic, unprecidented, and epic accomplishment!
 
i have said this before but i have been waiting since 1990 for a dolphins team like this. a team that never quits, a team that didn't crumble at the first sign of adversity. this team is special, a true team. they have proven they will not back down, these dolphins take your best shot to the chin, laugh, and drop you with a flurry of body shots and a haymaker of their own. i love this team and always will.
 
Good post WV. There is without doubt inspiration to be drawn from what the Dolphins have accomplished thus far in this season. It goes to show that hard work and attention to detail really do mean something. These guys, players and coaches alike, have really put the work into this season and have given all of us a reason to be proud again after 6 years of agony.

A grand accomplishment for our 2008 AFC EAST CHAMPIONS but, were not done this team is destined I guarantee it. I told myself back on August 31, 2008 that we would win 10 games and now we have won 11! I told myself we will make the playoffs and here we are! Now I say WHY NOT US! I believe this team is not just good team but a great team and I feel there is so much out there this year to accomplish. Remember noone in their right mind of so called experts would of seen this coming but us fans believed and this ORGANIZATION believed and OUR players and now we are here! SO again I WHY NOT US! :woot:
 
I love this team b/c it proves that Preseason hype means absolutely nothing. ESPN, FOX, TSN, CBS Sportsline, it's all ****. None of the experts know what they're talking about and should really just not act like they their stuff anymore.

The '08 Phins have proven everyone wrong even about what a rebuilding effort is suppose to be. All I heard on this site over the offseason and early part of the year is that the Phins would possibly be competitive in 2010 or 2011.

Could we have been so wrong? I said 5-11 at the start of the year too ;)
 
Great post, you said it all.

I am grateful that for the first time in 6 years or so, football MATTERS. I wore my Dolphins polo to work today and got all sorts of congrats.

That was nice.
 
Well said...tv hosts are already being asked if the Lions can 'pull a Miami' next year. What a rewarding season, this is why we watch. I got texts from random people I work with and others I don't even talk to that much. Awesome last 24 hours.
