Active Roster
Absolutely waste of a great roster. There’s no reason why we couldn’t ground and pound in the second half against the Packers. That’s just one example, but it’s been going on for a while.
I will say that GB pretty much stuffed every run we did attempt in the 2nd half. I believe either the 1st or 2nd Tua pick came on 3rd down after two 1-2 yard gain runs on 1st and 2nd. GB’s defense definitively adjusted to what our offense wanted to do.Absolutely waste of a great roster. There’s no reason why we couldn’t ground and pound in the second half against the Packers. Disagree, only because I think your point is incomplete. Agree he abandoned the run in MANY games, but if the checkdowns were working (NE), it was abandoned. Passes to Sherfield and RBs working? Abandoned. Hot reads? Never abandoned because they were never used.Absolutely waste of a great roster. There’s no reason why we couldn’t ground and pound in the second half against the Packers. Thank you, I keep seeing posts about abandoning the run game but the Fins sticking to the run in the 2nd half of the GB game continuously put us in third and long situations because the run game was not working.I will say that GB pretty much stuffed every run we did attempt in the 2nd half. That’s hilarious. I was just told in a different thread that McDaniel cost Miami the game because he ran the ball too much on first down in the New England game. McDaniel isn’t the problem.Absolutely waste of a great roster. There’s no reason why we couldn’t ground and pound in the second half against the Packers. So you obviously believe that having a decimated secondary for most of the year. Along with Armstead, Jackson, and Eichenberg, and Tua missing several games with injuries had nothing to do with the teams collapse.Absolutely waste of a great roster. There’s no reason why we couldn’t ground and pound in the second half against the Packers. That’s just one example, but it’s been going on for a while.
Don’t know about that but he’s bad for sureMcDaniel is a terrible game day coach. Worse the Dolphins have had since Cam Cameron, imo.
Injuries played a role. Still, losing 5-6 in a row was on coaching. We should have won some of these games. Team committed too many penalties, didn’t stick w the run at times, didn’t play complimentary football it goes on and on.So you obviously believe that having a decimated secondary for most of the year. Along with Armstead, Jackson, and Eichenberg, and Tua missing several games with injuries had nothing to do with the teams collapse.
I totally agree that when all their players are healthy and on the field, the Dolphins roster is as talented as any roster in the NFL. Yet injuries to many key players have a lot more to do with the Dolphins record now than the fact they didn’t run the ball more.
This realization does what exactly?Absolutely waste of a great roster. There’s no reason why we couldn’t ground and pound in the second half against the Packers. That’s just one example, but it’s been going on for a while.
I will argue the Dolphins lost to GB, not because McD abandoned the run, but because our QB was concussed and none knew it until the next day.Absolutely waste of a great roster.
