I know exactly what needs to be done to win this game monday night, hell we all know, run the football effectively and control the clock. A duplicate of week two vs the colts tommorow night will result in a victory because lets remember this is NOT Peyton manning even though dirty sanchez is to the jest fans . But we cant run the ball every down and god knows how many differents blitz packages we will see trying to rattle our young inexperienced Quarterback, which leads me to the point: To win this game not only does chad need to manage the game but he needs to make plays and not do anything stupid and costly to lose the game, i dont expect any more than 20-25 attempts and i know the coaching staff wont put the game in henne's hands, but we need to complete some passes downfield and do it early to lighten the pressure we all know is coming. I want to see henne have a great game, i want him to show promise, i have a lot of faith in this guy and i do not want to be let down AGAIN, by no means will i give up on this guy if he doesnt have a spectacular game, or just a good game for that matter, but i think this game will say a lot about how good this guy is because this is a HUGE game, monday night at home, against the jets, and our season on the line. The world is on this guys shoulders even if he only throws the ball 20 times, we have to have a good game from him if we want to win.

so to wrap it up all im saying is that i really want to see henne succeed in this game because im still not sold after last week (cmon its the bills) and this jets D while overated is still very talented and good and a win will say a lot for henne, unless he stinks it up of course

Like the rest of you im just desperate for a franchise QB and wanted to get this off my chest. Orangeout night in miami baby whos pumped?!?!?!?!? :hump:

I think Henne will be fine. I'm not sold on him either way yet. I'll wait until the season is over to really form an opinion. He should have a reasonable level of success, though in our offense that seems suited to him.

Call lots....and lots of screens

yes sir, that is how u gotta beat the blitz in the air, if the pats would have ran more screens against them then it would have ended much different, the whole time i was watching that game i was absolutely shocked to not see them break out the screen plays like we would see quite often from bellicheat and the pats.

But even so i want henne to make good, accurate throes and most importantly the right decisions. I dont wanna see him stare down his man or hold on to the ball to long but i believe those two could be fixed with a lil more time. Though there were the pros and cons, after last week i was very satisfied with henne's performance if i must say

I think alot of people get on him for not being experienced which is true.....but he has played in alot of big games with lots of fans who hated him...i dont think the blitzes or the mystique of the jets will rattle him.....i do see him controlled but i think we see a few big throws...and each week i think we see some progression...who knows what it is this week....maybe he carries the team on a big drive or just simply makes a few big plays.

I dont think the magnitude or the atmosphere will get to him and with another week of practice he will have grown from last week and hopefully shows us a thing or two.

GO HENNE GO FINS!!!!!

We don't know how to run a screen and we don't know how to defend it.

I hope we've been practicing them in practice this week, rick did run a couple nice ones last week but that was a safe attempt on 3rd and 10+'s, we need to run them on 1st and 2nd down

We need to stick with what we do best: smash them in the mouth and run the ball. If we lose doing that, then so be it.

If we need to slow down their pass rush, we're alot better off running those delayed handoffs/draws we ran so much last week.

Henne will do just fine...I think too many people worry about him because of our bad luck in the past with QB's...this guy is cool under pressure, can win big games (he proved that in college), and he seems to have taken up some of Chad Pennington's good habits (the WR and OL meetings each week). Make no mistake about it though, this game will be decided in the trenches. Our success running the ball, passing, and protecting our QB will largely depend on how good of a game Grove and J. Long have. With that being said, this one is gonna be a good ole fashioned slobber knocker!!! Go Phins!!!!

He has never seen the blitzing they are going to do.
They get major pressure. He seems to be able to take a hit though

i think Henne will progress throughout the season, but part of developping is having setbacks. looking at the Jets' D this looks exactly like one of those setback games. don't expect any fancy stats from Henne tonight. we need to get the running game going, obviously, and no bad turnovers from Henne.

Yes, I expect a bunch of quick patterns with high completion percentages. Exciting news is that henne was 6 for 9 on 3rd downs! we can finally pick up a 3rd and 10! henne has the strong arm to stick it into the receivers chest so hopefully, and im 100% faithful Bess and Camarillo will break a couple tackle tonight and get those extra yards. I hope we finally see a ball hit a receiver for more than 20 yards also!*cough ted ginn*cough

my predictions on Henne 15-20 150 yards no td's
