Weak throw, I think its painfully obvious everytime Pennington throws to Ginn the ball is late or weakly thrown and Ginn ends up having to slide and duck and people say thats Ginn's problem. LMFAO as if Ginn is the one impeding the offense.

Pennington can do his thing this year but thats at. Starting next year we need a real arm at QB. Three years of game managing QB play is not acceptable. Chad gets his due and starts for now.

Ginn needs someone who throws a straight heater. Go watch his college highlights and try and compare Troy Smith to Chad Pennington. The second Ginn's route slows down the potential for a big play diminishes greatly. Henne might offer that potential but I think he has a slow release and that could limit his effectiveness.
Pennington doesn't offer us any potential as an offense, just the potential to win some games.

mind you all the credit in the world to Chad Pennington he use to light it up with randy moss at Marshall..as the first video shows ...but after injuries Chad isn't that down field QB anymore!!! Further, randy moss got his reputation from Marshall pretty much by the deep ball....if Chad didn't go deep most people wouldn't have know that about Randy's game!! so if chad doesn't go deep to ginn..how can we know. and 1 step further, it's ironic when chad has gone deep to ginn ..it's usually resulted in good things..

Cause Ginn goes and gets the ball once its thrown deep. Pennington just doesn't like to take those chances often because he doesn't have confidence in his deep throws. Everyone and there mother can see with plain eye sight Pennington absolutely hinders our big play ability with Teddy.

One play here or there isn't enough anymore. We need someone who can put the ball out in front of Ginn (and not like Pat White) and just be close. But hit him in stride or close to it.

Atlanta didn't stop passing downfield because they missed a chance to score with Roddy White early. But Matt Ryan can overthrown passes deep, Pennington can not.

THAT HINDERS US.

At the end of the day I think most of us can agree Chad Pennington will never win a superbowl.

Is that not what the QB is supposed to do, win games? Last year he's a hero, after one game this season he's a bum. Get back to me at the end of the season and we'll see.

Penny doesn't win you games, he just usually doesn't lost them for you.

He won't be starting at the end of the season IMO.....

by the bye week it will be painfully obvious playoffs arnt happening this yr.
 
I completely agree. It's ONE GAME. Plus, it was the O-line that stunk it up.... resulting in Chads poor performance.

I can't argue that, but he has managed to not lose a lot games in his career.

If the offense plays like they did last week, then you're right he won't be starting. It won't be all on him, but Henne will need to get a look. It think they will bounce back this week though.

No.. the point is to win a super bowl!! thats what a true dolfan wants.. thats the big picture many our forgetting..there are many here that are content with just a win! i am not!! Chad helped win some games last years great!!! teams have learned his game...play him within the box..the pick by peterson when he tried to throw to ricky was a great indication of what may happen quite a bit this year!!!

And I'll asked my question for the 100 time..name 1 QB like Chad Pennington that has won a super bowl recently?...and i will name 3 teams with receivers like the ones we currently have..that have won super bowls!
