Guess this means we'll trade 3 seventh round picks for the fifth ronder you mentioned ??

If we did go WR with the first round, he wouldn't be the #2 WR in our lineup. Booker would still be our #2 until he's beaten and that won't happen this year. Why not draft Chad Jackson, instead of Santonio Holmes? I rather take his size and speed over Holmes.

Not sure we're going to bring back Schulters. He played pretty well, but I think the coaching staff is worried about his declining range at FS. When other teams can get him singled out deep down the field he is very vunerable, and matching up against the Pats' Ben Watson was a big win for New England last year.

One of the Miami papers had us interested in safety Deke Cooper, and I think he might be a good signing (at least to challenge a draftee or two). Cooper was good enough to get a 1.43 million dollar tender from the Jags last year as a restricted free agent, and was considered close to pushing Darius out of the lineup. Unfortunately he tore a shoulder labrum much like Zach Thomas did a while back, and whilst he played through it, his performance suffered. As a result, he is now out on the open market.

I like the signings...we don't have a 5th rounder tho and I don't see us taking an OT in the 3rd after getting Sheldon plus Ashworth.....I can see us taking Jackson at 16 and then a DB in the 3rd and in the 4 too.I can also see us getting a QB to groom in the 7th.Your line up looks great tho and keep on mind that we rotate the d-line so we'd play Roth, Wright and Vickerson....Traylor might not be back tho.

Ozzy rules!!

SOUNDS LIKE A SUPERBOWL LINE-UP TO ME!! Although I hope we don't get too over-hyped by the media, it's always better to be the under-dog!!

:dolphins:

I would draft Chad Jackson over Santonio Holmes. He is the #1 receiver coming out in the draft.

dolphins will never be over hyped by the media

sounds good, but I'm not to sure about will poole. I thought he was going to start for us last year before he got injured. I don't think Saban will put poole and daniels out there. There both so young, but if he can't get a vet he may have to. If it comes to that DBs will be our only weakness.

I agree.

Also, I think Lavar would end up in Cleveland. Cleveland has more cap space to pay him the big money he wants, and for some reason, linebackers love Romeo.

Holmes is by far a better receiver than Jackson, and Holmes can play special teams as he did at OSU. Holmes won't be available at the 16th pick, so getting Holmes is out of the question, unless he drops which is not expected to happen. I forsee us trading down trying to pick up to picks that we lost and pick the BAP.

I'd be very happy if we add either Arrington OR Peterson..& I'd also welcome Michael Bennett considering what happens with Ricky Williams

QB:Culpepper/Maddox or Harrington/Clemons
