Does it bother anyone else with all this waiting? I know, I know, we have to do a thorough search for a coach...But c'mon already. I am not the most patient guy. Im thinking it may have to do with waiting until the end of the season to get Cameron possibly. Also, is Carroll the only candidate H-zinga went to personally? What does everyone think?
 
I'd rather wait and have them get it right this time!!
 
Have some patience man, better to take the time and do it right, than get stuck with another Satan.
 
I know youre both right, but what about my other question? I dont know, is the Carroll interview the only one Wayne went to personally?
 
Its kinda like waiting for Christmas morning...Because there is SO MUCH riding on this decision.
 
I have a feeling that Wayne wants Pete Carroll more than anyone, and is offering him the job. I think Carroll is very interested in returning to the NFL rankings, but I'm hearing he must have total control. If Wayne is willing to give it to him, I think Carroll will take the job. We should know how serious Carroll is within the next couple of days in my opinion.....

If Carroll doesn't take the job, I'm not sure who we should hire. Although I like both candidates {Cameron / Whisenhunt}, I'm not completely sold on them as head coaching material yet. I like Carroll better than both in terms of NFL / head coaching experience....

All this waiting? It hasen't even been a week.

what waiting...it has been just a few days. they need to narrow down the field to about 3-4 top candidates. then, i am guessing, there will be a 2nd rd of interviews.

your mind is thinking way too much on this.

sit back and enjoy the articles. it won't be long. predict by no later than the SB.

Yeah, but I think many of us thought it was right last time.

I like the fact that Wayne is leaving no stone unturned, but I don't think that by doing so it will prevent another "Saban" situation.

I really hoping that we take a shot at one of the up-& coming coordinators...Wisenhunt, Cameron, Rivera, Tomlin, etc. Look at recent history... Marvin Lewis, Mike Nolan, Eric Mangini, Brad Childress, or a little further back...Jon Gruden, Jeff Fisher, Brian Billick, Jack el Rio, etc. The list of quality HC that were successful coordinators is much longer than coaches that made the jump from college. Here is a list of some recent college coaches...Saban, Spurrier, Dennis Erickson, etc.

I just think that we need to move in a new direction and could use a fresh perspective on the direction that this franchise needs to move in.
