but if August is considered the dog days of summer, then July is the dog days of football, which is reflected on this board and I am sure on many other team boards. Not meant to be critical, but just a fact, like the birds flying south for the winter. Hard to stay battle ready when the waters are peaceful and without the ripple of training camp. Kudos to those who attempt to keep the ship afloat.
