Should he stay or should he go?

OK who here would love to see Ricky traded at the end of the season and who wants him to stay?

If Ricky makes it back to his old form, its nothing but great things for the Dolphins. If coach Saban keeps Ricky next year, it will only make Ronnie Browns career last longer. Just take a look at the Rams RB's. Marshal Faulks career is going to last a couple of years longer because of Steven Jackson.

Honestly, the ideal thing would be for Ricky to play just a few more years and retire a phin. Of coarse assuming he plays for about a Mill per year or less. This way we can have the best one two punch in the NFL for at least three years.

Besides, Rick is settled in here.

I voted to trade him later only if we get fair value (1st or 2nd round pick). With the investment in Ronnie Brown, we can afford to trade him and get something in return. I still like Ricky and wouldn't trade him unless we get the 1st or 2nd.

Please realize that the Seahawks can't even get a 3rd rounder for Alexander who led the NFC in rushing last year. Ricky will never be worth more than a 4th round pick.

Unless he rushes for 2000 this season. ;)

I say keep him. He's not going to play for to many more years. Ronnie, Ricky, and a seasoned o line next year could be dangerous!!! Plus it will be Saban 2nd yr and everyone would be comfortable with the system.

Not enough choices.

He's gone no matter what so I am glad we are at least getting another year out of our TWO 1st round draft pick investment.

screw that quitting rod jockey. words cannot describe my hatred for Pricky.

If he does good keep him if we cant get a good draft pick for him and if the price is right

I'm all for keeping Ricky but with Ronnie Brown soon to be in the fold Ricky's just butter.

That said, there is no telling how good Ronnie's going to be until he actually plays this season. In all honesty, he could be great (what I'm figuring) or he could be a bust.

There have been and will be some interesting roster moving this season BUT next offseason will be when Saban truly starts bring in players he wants for HIS team.

While we will never get back what we gave up to get Ricky, Saban having the possiblity to get a 1st day pick for him next season (providing Ronnie is what he appears) would very likely be the best for the team in general.

I like Ricky, always have and likely always will (unless he pulls a Rae Curruth or something like that) but I am a Dolphin fan. If we can improve our team by trading Ricky next season, then I am for it. I'll root for Ricky with his new team just like I'll root for Caddy Williams (until he plays us :) ) but I'll always root for the Phins.
