This is the week that we have to make a statement

For some reason or another, and I understand that mathematically it isn't the case, BUT I do believe that we as a team must make a statement against seattle. This is a message game against the doubters. Sure we have beaten some supposedly upper echelon teams, however we have also rolled over against teams that we had a great matchups against.

While our schedule is very favorable, this week is one in which we must win and win decisively in ALL facets of the game to start to really garner the respect as an up and coming team. However I am not going to be lulled into drinking the kool aid that many have already started to consume like another Jim Jones convention. There is just something about this game. A gut feeling that it is put up or shut up time.

Regardless, I want to see us win and win big. Now is our defining moment to bring it all together. Go FINS!

IMO, this is as close to a "Must Win" game for the Dolphins as any this year. A plus .500 record will be heard loud and clear around the NFL. IF we fall flat on our collective faces, while not the end of the world, sticks us right down below .500 which is not a good place to be.

No statement is needed. Just win the ballgame. 5-4 is the only statement I need. I don't care if the score is 3-2, 13-10, 49-48, 35-0 or whatever. Just win the game.

Another thing is a win also puts us at the lowest 3rd in the division. Buf and NE play each other this week and we have beaten both of them... So unless they tie, if we win we are at 3rd place.

We have to win to keep pace with the winner of the Buf/NE game.
