Maybe because regardless of what the offense is doing, this defense has made long Jets drives the standard and against one of the worst QB's in the league, has managed 0 sacks. That's bad regardless of whether your offense scores 40 or 0.

Well someone has to step up and the offense isn't. Defense win's championships, period. Miami's defense has allowed two absolutely mediocre offenses to put up 19-20 points and get absolutely no pressure on opposing qb's. We all knew that Miami' offense was the question mark this year but nobody thought the defense would suck as bad as it did. Miami should have shut out the jets and bills with what they are playing with. Our secondary is atrocious. Jones, Carroll and Clemons suck. I don't care how many tackles they have. They have no ball instincts and allow completion after completion. They routinely get exposed even more when our supposed dominant defensive line, is MIA. Terrible performance by the front 4 and we haven't even discussed why Phillip Wheeler is in the NFL.
