DE: Rodrique Wright/ or Quentin Moses i really like Moses i think he is going to be a good Player

I think if Rogers is there in the Second round we will take him at least i hope we would but for Briggs i dont know if that will happen if it doesnt then we can always draft beau bell

thats the dream team.. wont happen

Do not under estimate how set in stone this coaching staff's philosophy is, especially, when speaking of prototypically sized players. This is a CORE philosophy that Ireland and Parcells share.

The ILB will be big in the 6'3" 245-260 range. The style of 3-4 defense that will be taught in Miami is a 2 gap scheme where the NT and DEs are responsible for the run first and do not get much penetration nor sacks.

The ILBs have to be big to be able to take on guards in the style of 3-4 that will eventually be implemented in Miami.

why are guys like Hamlin and Briggs going to sign with a noncontender, when other teams with a shot want their services?

they are at the stage of their careers where they realize no one is invinceable, and an injury could end it all. they aren't new to the league and feel bullet proof. they are the "win now" stage of their career.

before we can bring in good free agents to fill holes, a turn around has to begin happening. just hiring the Tuna isn't enough. they have to believe signing here will be the difference between making a run at a Super Bowl.

otherwise expect them to end up somewhere else.

nope, but he is a prototypical 3-4 OLB.

I like him quite a bit. It really depends on how fast he runs at the Combine.

How fast he runs at the combine? Moses was signed by us during last season. He was drafted in the 3rd round by the Raiders in 2007 so he has already been through the combine. You must have him mistaken for someone else.

bah, Quintin Groves...of Auburn.

But yes, I did like Moses as a OLB coming out last year. He has perfect size. I liked the other DE that Moses played with a little better though, Johnson.

I should say, I was probably wrong on Johnson though. He didn't end up running as I thought he might. 4.8 is a little on the slow side to be playing OLB. I'm not even sure he saw the field this year.

Moses will have to be moved from DE to OLB because he doesn't have the size to be a 3-4 DE. I think he ran a 4.78 in the 40 at the combine in 2007. Vonnie Holliday is guy who will have to be moved for a 4-3 DT to a strongside DE as will Rod Wright. Nose tackle is where the biggest concern is right now.

I didn't realize Moses was shipped to Miami....

When did that happen?

O yea and no doubt. If he was brought here, I would be absolutely shocked if it wasn't to move him to OLB, ala Demarcus Ware.
