first off this team is full of talent we have players but i think our main problem is we missing a playmaker/go to guy on offense and a beast/animal on defense. what i mean by that is a a guy on offense that can make big time plays all the time not just every now and then, i love ronnie and cc but there not in the same class with LT,steve smith, larry johnson,TO,brady, manning you get the picture, the only guy even close would be cullpepper and who knows if he will ever be the same and on defense we have some studs no doubt, but they do not put fear into people like ray lewis or merriman, taylor is a great great player and he kills qb's year in and year out and he is great at what he does, rush the passer but he is not going to make a RB fear him and the same with zack, he will make the tackle and hit you hard but he is limited ,he cant blits, run through a o-lineman and drill the qb like a merriman and thats no knock on zack he is what he is. look at all the good teams they all have at least one impact player and the real good teams have more than one, most of you will say taylor is our impact guy and your right but i still think we need a guy that will knock your head off like sean taylor or merriman. if we can get a stud LB like willis in the 1st round and get a big time playmaker from a trade or free agency we can be a playoff team next year or maybe our own playmaker ricky williams will be back? i doubt it though.

dude i think that ronnie will be as good as lj or lt just be pateint with the kid

^^^^ Yeah that i hate everyone talking about him like he is a bust and injury prone just wait and watch :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

look around the league... teams with very good offensive line are the teams thats usually in the playoffs year and year out. example, the nyjets who used there draft picks this year for offensive linemen have gotten better and new england is another example a year ago. lets face it our offensive linemen is not that good. except maybe vernon carney.

ummm...Ronnie can't sniff LT's jock, line or no line. And he'll never be an LT. Mark my words.Ronnie apears to be an average RB until he proves me otherwise...Hey it was a weak draft he looked to be the safe pick.he'll give us a 1000 to 1200 for a couple years....

taylor is our defense playmaker all the teams are scared of him

Yeah, I agree about Taylor. He is one of the top players in the entire league at any position, even though he's on the other side of 30. And Ronnie, everyone is so quick to call him a bust...Cadillac and Cedric Benson have not come near the consistency and play of Ronnie so far overall. Caddy has a good year last year but stunk it up this year, and Cedric...well. Ronnie is a bruiser with rare speed. He showed how he can play with good O Line play against the Bears.

never called ronnie a bust, heck i have his jersey he is my 2nd fav player, ronnie is a very good back but he is no LT and he is a workhorse not a game breaker!

What we need is a QB that can hit the long ball... Another left tackle would be nice as well... Even though our secondary has vastly improved, we seen Sunday that we need at least one that is over 6'1''...

But the BIGGEST need for this team is "NO CHANGES IN THE COACHING STAFF or KEY PLAYERS"!!! We need a year of continuity to start the year off right! We DO NOT need to be learning yet another system, gain familiarity with a new OC and DC coordinators... This is, by far IMHO, why we started so late again this year! Had we kept LINHAN, I honestly believe that this offense would have been firing on all cylinders from opening day... I also think that we should have kept GUS as the backup to Daunte. Don't get me wrong, Joey has some skills and maybe by the end of the year they will develop further, but had we kept GUS I honestly feel that CC would have began this year like he finished last year...

What changed from last year? Let me count the ways...

Offense:
NEW OC
NEW QB
NEW LT
NEW RG
NEW CENTER
NO RW

Defense:
NEW DC
NEW SS
2 NEW CBs

It takes time for these ingredients to mix... It doesn't happen over night. In the past 5 weeks we are 4-1 and I believe that we will finish 4-0 in the last 4 games... That would be an 8-1 record against a very strong schedule!

The best thing we can do in the off season is to minimize changes to this team...

BUT that is just MY OPINION!:tantrum:

We need Daunte to play like he did a few years ago. Some Oline improvement would be nice too. If Daunte doesn't come through we can hang it up.

We need to replace the three stooges, Culpepper, Harrington, and Mularkey.

I agree with that statement. Ronnie is such a complete back and if we can consitantly create holes for him, the kid has the tools to shed tacklers and burst through a hole. His vision is improving each and every day and like I said, one we get consistant run blocking, Ronnie will prevail into the top 5 year after year. Look at the game against Chicago. There aren't 5 backs in this league who get "tougher" yards than Ronnie Brown.

Ugh. You know how some things never get old? This is the one thing that gets older and older each day.

its not like we porposly draft bad player not say that ronnie is a bad player i think he has great potential but seriously you never know who will be good in the draft or not except the first rounders there usually pretty good
