We need to use reggie in the passing game also but his main job in miami should be carries if he wants to be a real RB. With that said, reggie has the potential to do this for us

http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/91283893. Explosive break out speed, something we have never had at running back before. Ricky williams was one our most explosives backs, hope reggie can be even better.
 
It's all going to come down to his health, can he withstand the pounding of an everydown back he will surely get the touches
 
when reggie said he wanted to be workhorse back he didn't mean he would carry 25 times per game
he mentioned catching 10 passes a game lol 10 maybe little much
but i would not care if we targeted reggie bush 10 times per game in the passing game..
Daniel thomas also looks much better running with the ball after the catch.

If the run game continues to struggle for lack of holes then i expect them to do short throws to these 2 guys
check downs to them aren't so bad they got sure hands and can do real damage..
 
Reggie will not succeed as a traditional rb who runs between tackles. History proves his health won't hold up. He needs to be in space. Bush needs to ride along beside another back who can get the tough yards. Use him like NO used him. Take advantage of his pass catching skills. He is probably the best receiving RB in the NFL. Be creative and smart when utilizing his talents.
 
yeah when reggie wants to side step he needs to hit the R1 button... and fight for those extra yards by hitting the hitstick
 
Or just use him like I use him in madden. 8 carries 324 yards wildcat sweeper. Grandmama 12 carries 75 yards. If only life were like madden. Well I guess it kind of is since I dropped 10 interceptions in one game, but did have 8 in another game.

How can you ever know what reggie can do in the nfl when he isnt given the chance to be a real running back. He was never given a chance in new orleans cause of his size and for the fact that he was brought in to sell tickets only. People need to stop telling reggie what he cant and can do, i saw his interview the other day, reggie specifically said he uses ppl like you as motivation. Im not saying reggie will be the next chris johnson, but il tell you one thing, he never got his chance in the nfl yet. Miami is his first chance, new orleans played the guy at 4 positions and expected him to be healthy all season? get real, new orleans didnt know what to do with reggie.

madden gave reggies injury rating based on his career in new orleans which is complete bull****, had the guy not been used at 4 positions he would not have been gettin hurt all the time. Plain and simple. Keep hating.
 
sometimes i wonder what games ppl at finheaven watch. alotta ppl on here sound like other casual fans who dont follow the Miami Dolphins. I'm not proclaiming reggie can or cant be a "real rb" but what i am going to say is that every snap ive seen this guy play this summer - hes put his shoulders down and carried guys. that is ON TOP of quick moves and crazy speed in space. Reggie is setting out to prove that he is a "real RB" and i hope he succeeds. i also hope this staff doesnt have him returning punts. but i dont think they will.

sparano has alrdy ruled him out on returning punts. It only adds to the % of injury chances and sparanos knows this. Sparano might have had some growing pains as a coach but he is certainly no idiot to do such a stupid thing. I agree completely on what you said, i dont know what game this ppl have been watching. Reggie was a workhorse out there against the panthers, reggie will prove these ppl wrong. Everyone is putting there opinions on reggie based on what went on in new orleans, which is complete utter bull****. Lets look at the facts

#1 New orleans never was behind reggie in the first place. They brought him in for his name, to sell tickets.
#2 playing a franchise running back at 3-4 positions increases the chance of injury of a player drastically( especially on turf)
#3 Reggie never wanted to be in new orleans and its been said that reggie was very unhappy in new orleans.
#4 They used the guy more as a receiver instead of a running back, the position he was drafted for.
#5 New orleans fans hates reggie bush, the minute he was drafted they hated the pick. New orleans was just a bad place for reggie to be. I have talk to there fans personally, they have a serious grudge against the guy for some reason.
 
Reggie's job is the speed guy, to get first downs, chunks, & TDs. Gotta run him out in space, or the big boys will knock him out of half the season.

Larry & Danny are the work horses. If you run Reggie into the Monsters in the Middle ... our Offense is doomed (& even worse cause we have little line blocking.)

That's NFL football. If you think differently, you'll find out soon enough!!

oo i dont think sparano got your memo than, try sending it again cause from what i saw in preseason reggie was going in that middle with no fear whatsoever. Dont worry though, once sparano gets your memo he will make reggie head straight to the sidelines!!!!

It's ridiculous. Will Allen dropped 3, Bell dropped 2, Burnett dropped 1, Dansby 2, Clemmons 2, and Smith 1.
Also Marshallfin how was my post hating? I love Reggie on madden and the o-line is the best in the league. Long-Incognito-Pouncey-Jerry-Carey.
