This is it. Like the espn article said coach philbin is at a crossroad. Can he lead a team during crisis? Were in the playoff hunt we need to stay focused & we have a trap game coming up against the bucs. The whole nation will probably be watching cuz of bullygate. Lets see if philbin can lead.
 
Richie Incognito did not play most of the cincy game. We won. I am sure they are focused on Tampa.

Philbin suspended Incog. Philbin said no more discussion neccessary as NFL investigates.

The NFL will be investigating what is already taken care of......like someone threaded before, this will be over before you know it. That is until Shefty speaks.
 
People said this last week before the Cincy win .... let's hope he responds that way the rest of the season.

After his last Incognito story failed a few months back, seems like this story is personal to him. He is getting pleasure in tearing down Incognito.
 
Cant wait til this situation is cleared up. I think its kinda funny how Hyde said this was the teams darkest hour, oh please. Just focus on Tampa and cut the buffoon when itll save money.
 
Sorry but I found out awhile ago Philbin doesn't fit the mold.The players won vs Cincy.It sure as heck wasn't some crafty Coaching potion that won it.

I was disappointed that the defense blew the lead, but the offensive gameplan was a pretty solid job of putting our players in a position to succeed while not letting them hand the game away.

You're right, we were in a playoff hunt. Even as a person who looks at things optimistically I don't think Miami has much of a chance to make the playoffs behind this offensive line. I'd love to be wrong about that, I just don't see any consistency on offense behind a line that is somehow worse off now.
 
I don't know about Philbin. Sounds as if he didn't have a clue about anything, then he gives this press conference and starts talking about how he sends his kids to school.

These aren't kids. They're grown men. That's not to say you can't have a positive influence on them and even a mentoring type influence, but once again, it's sounds as if Philbin doesn't have a clue. And raising your voice in a press conference doesn't give you a clue.

That may not be a completely fair assessment, but that's how it came off to me on first glance.
 
If Philbin learns to grow a pair and fire Turner and anyone else that lack the qualifications to coach at a Pro level then I say he will survive this. Granted his involvement in this is truly minimal.
 
The team will rally against the media onslaught and take the Division from the media's darlings. Any one else notice Wake's demeanor when he was was being bombarded with questions about this current circus? Wake is ready to smash some QBs.
