This is why we take ILB with first pick. We don't need a RB, The only
o-line spot we could take would be RT or C but no one at those positions are worth using a #1 pick on and I think carey gets re-signed. QB is good, and yes we need a WR but I just don't think we should use are first pick and I think it would be against the fins philosophy. So with all that are first pick will be on the Defense. RE and LE is pretty solid and with furgeson we should wait till next draft for a better DT. So no D-line. OLB is set with Porter, Roth, and Wake, another wait till next year thing. There is only 2 guys at CB that maybe worth a first round but yet I think they will be of the board come are turn. So that leaves ILB and FS. It would have to ILB because we can get a decent FS later in the draft and I got a feelin Crowder will be walking because he wants to much $$$.

umm, well the only first round ILB's are Maulaluga, Curry, Laurenitis... Mau and Lau might be available, but i would pass on Lau...

Outside of those guys, we'd be reaching way to early...

I heard Cushing would be good as a ILB... If thats the case he should be our 1st round pick

Would like to see the Dolphins take ILB... Laurinaitis would be a great pick at #25... maybe here is there..maybe not.

cant agree on lauranitis

Not Laurinitis. He sucks.

Andy Katzenmoyer part Deux.

I'd rather go with Sintim, English, Delmas, one of the SC LBs, or Hakeem Nicks before I'd get Laurinitis.

Laurinitis sucks? mm ok... would i rather have Rey Maualuga... or course...

3 year starter - played as a freshman...
2006 Nations Best Defensive Player - Nagurski award - finalist for Butkus
2007 Nations Best Linebacker - Butkus Award
2008 Lott Trophy - Defensive Impact player of the Year

Andy Katzenmoyer was a beast in college .... too bad he suffered a neck injury .... he had a great rookie season.... Andy K was a better LB

No thanks on any first round Wrs... pick them up later....
English is a good pick...

Laurinitis is just overrated, that's all, and I think we could use that pick on someone better.

OSU hasn't had a decent linebacker come out of there since Chris Spielman.

Players we should take over a LB at #25
DJ Moore
Vonte Davis
Duke Robinson
ALex Mack
Eden Britton

Plus Sintim is way better than Laurinitis

We can take a good LB later on in the draft
Daniel Holtzclaw
Scott McKillop
WOrrell Williams
Jason Phillips
FrantzJoseph
MCkenzie
Matthews
Gerald McRath
Freeman
Zach Follett

Just too many good LB ava later on to pass on the elite G in Robinson or a great LT in Britton. DJ Moore can be a shutdown CB, along with Vonte Davis. Plus we really need a C and Mack would be a great pick in the 1st

as I've said in the past DAMN YOU ALL FOR MAKING ME DEFEND A BUCKEYE!!!

Little Animal and Big Kat are two different players. Katz was a far superior athlete, but didn't have half the brain Animal has. Animal will be a solid pro just because of his football IQ. That being said, he might not be a great fit for us because he really struggles shedding blocks. He'd be better in a system that has 2 big DTs in front of him.

Cushing is an interesting choice because he can play ILB, but is also a decent pass rusher. However, he'll probably be gone because his stock will soar after his combine.

Laur reminds me of a poor mans AJ Hawk. A Buckeye and good passion. The difference is Hawk was a combine warrior, which Laur is not. He will be a good pro, but in other years he is a 2nd rounder.
