10 games in and the rookie coach is useless... BULL... and everyone knows it...

Imagin what you guys would have said in the dolphins first season... they lost their first 9 games (including preseason) and ended up 3 and 11 for the worst season in our history... (will not be broken this year)... I think the threads would have been something like "can the team for good..." everybody knows that since then we have had one of the best teams in football... 353-235-4 (.604) in the regular season and 20-19 (.513) in the playoffs...

My message is give Saben some time he just might suprise you and be the best... If anything have some faith and keep the negitive crap to yourself...

:yes: I hear you brother. I'm one of the original posters from when this site started and I have to tell you that the quality of posts on here have definitely been downgraded. This year has been the worse I've seen so far.

Most of the chicken littles on this site are fairly new and joined this site for the same reason you did. That's the fault of being the best fan forum on the internet, it will not only attract fans who add great insight, but it will also attract the undesirables that say so much that mean very little. I've been on this site from just about the beginning, but I spend less time on it now because of the fans that you are talking about. Although it is a great fan site, some the fans have cheapen the quality of opinions and views I used to read on here. Some of the original fans I used to enjoy reading opinions and views from on a daily basis, no longer post here as much as they use to (some of them I haven't seen on here at all).

This community is just like any other community. It has it's extremist who shout and scream "the sky is falling!" and "the end is nigh!". While the majority of those who frequent the board are more calm and understand the bigger picture. The majority isn't rushing to judgment before the 1st year is over.

People what did you expect we we're 4-12 last season totally new staff. New below average QB. We lost Surtain our best defensive back. Miracles don't happen overnight. I am pleased with the job Saban has done so far.

Do you know the difference between critiquing something and simply criticizing it? I am all for informative, intelligent, and supported critiques and analysis of what was done correctly, what can be improved, and how you may or may not go about it.

Its your opinion, its your analysis, its your critique.

But if you confuse critiquing the situations with criticizing it only, of claiming the most informed you can get is: so-and-so SUCKS, so-and-so should be FIRED...that's not critiquing, that's wasting everyone's time.

I am not positive about everything I have seen on the football field from this team or staff. But I would be labeled as naive and foolish (and so should you) to come on a SOAPBOX and claim that an NFL player SUCKS, and NFL coach (HC or staff) should be fired 9 games into a brand new regime. That is childish, immature, and uninformed.

So, critique away, and don't turn it into a whine session. State what you think is wrong, why, and offer a suggestion that if you had control this is what you would do and why. You think a player really does SUCK, why, and what would you replace him with, what's the cap hit? You think a Coach should be fired, ok why? what would you think should be done differently, who do you replace him with?, etc.

If you don't have the strength, energy, or expertise to craft an informative response, then simply post in the other silly threads. But don't imply that unsubstantiated criticism is the same as a thought-out critique of where this team is and where it will get to.

i dont think people understand that this football team was not supposed to be, nor IS very good, therefore people rip Saban and Frerotte and Linehan and all these guys when coming in that was the reason we weren't supposed to win more than 5-6 games. I guess those are the negative affects of starting over 500. and people being dumb enough to buy the Dolphins as a playoff team.

Never said you werent FANS...if you root for Miami, you are a FAN. Its not your loyalty, its stating your view but also supporting it as to why. Worse, its the EXTREMIST sides of most posts....we WIN we are superbowl bound, we LOSE we are the dreggs of the league. Thats just dumb.

I am simply talking about adding analysis and supporting details regarding your views or opinions to educate others in the details of your position.

Debate that facts, state your opinions, but raise the bar of the discussion from the knee-jerk win/loss only view of what is taking place with this franchise, why Saban was hired, and how long you realistically think his system and scheme will take to improve the execution on the field.

Who would you like to pick up and why? who do you want to cut and replace and why?

I and many others would be all ears I am sure to hear your supported stance. That's all. No malice intended.
