I happen to think we will win, and win big, but anyway...............

If we lose......Lord I'd hate to even get on here to see some of the "We suck and the world is over posts" Also the media will once again have a field day downing this team.... Failing to realize that 0-2 isn't insurmountable, and that this team can do nothing but improve (the offense at almost every position hasn't played together much yet for squat)

If we win......I'm sure there will be some @%%holes that just say we got lucky, but it will silence some "SOME" of the negativity amongst the media and more importantly(in my opinion) The Fans.

Also......We are heavy favorites to lose to the Bengals, Why???? The titans are a better team than Cincy, and lets face it........We hung in there with them even though our QB played HORRIBLE, and our leading RB had only been on the team for 3 days

I agree with you on the perception of the team. I seem to be in the minority of the optimistic Fin fans but every time they play I think they're going to win and I didn't give up hope on Saturday until the last second ran out... wether we go 0-16 this year or 15-1 I'm going to be expecting the best every time they play and just excited that football season is here and there's something worth watching again. :)

Well, the media and the nay sayers do have an out if we win. We won against the bengals. Now, Nicy is getting better but the media is giving them about the same amount of respect as we have been getting.

well actually when or lose any game this season or if we lose everygame all season then my perception wont change for this team....

were a team that has the talent to go far but a coach who doesnt treasure that talent

I saw some good things Sat. The media thing we are doomed because of a pot heads move and they mite have been right but we fooled tham we got a QB.

We WILL WIN!

I am telling you right now guys. We WILL WIN this game.

I dont think it will be because of our offense exploding though. I think our defense will play tough and the Offense will do what it has to to win.

Feeley will have a solid game and Gordon will get his yards. I think he'll get about 100 simply because Wannstedt will run him a lot.

I dont think a win will change anything as far as the perception of the team. ESPN and all of the other fools will still make us underdogs because no matter how you slice it, your still talking about the Bengals. A team which is still rebuilding. They have improved much but are still rebuilding. Only a win against the Pats, and even then, would they start to slightly change. Not change, just slightly change from they suck and are going 4-12 to they are ok and are going 8-8.

We dont need "girlie man" perceptions. We need big "receptions".

I answerd to a thread similar to this earlier today this is what I wrote:

I say don't judge to quickly, no matter the outcome. This team has a long ways to go and we will not know much more after next weeks game then we know now I think everyone thinks AJ is the answer, the fact is he's not the answer this team playing like a team will be the answer. AJ still has a lot of growing pains to go through and he will probably throw more INT's this year then TD's. We will be lucky to have a back with a 100 yrd game this season. So if this team scores any kind of points we should be happy. It will be a long slow process to get the O into shape and we as fans should just ignore the media because it's never as bad as they report and things not as good as we think.

Just be happy with avg. for a while. I for one am glad Jay is not starting and I think he should have been gone at the end of last season, but he's here and all we can do is deal with it the same goes for Wanny. I don't think this team is the worst team in the AFC east but we sure arent the best either. "IF" and thats a big IF, AJ can play the QB position, and by that I mean 15-18 TD's with 9 or 10 INT's for the season and Lamar Gordon can get around 1000- 1200 yrds and 9-10 TD combined, this O will have improved ten fold over last year.

I would not expect that will happen but at least it's realistic and we always have hope. Just the fact that we have a QB that can throw the ball more then 15 yrds down the field and put it in the hands of a reciever in stride gives me butteflys. All I can say is don't get your hopes up to high because with all the things that happened this off season we are lucky to be where we are thanks to Rick. Next year will be our best chance to make some post season noise in years. If were real lucky this year maybe just maybe a wild card spot.
