Having most of the 1st stringers working together recently with the same QB and playing a weaker opponent we should have a better game. I'll start worrying if we look really bad in this one.

This one means more then the others, but not enough to hang the season on. There is very little gameplanning going into this.
 
Well, since Coach has just started to instill the playbook during closed practices I don't plan on seeing a lot of anything other then them still evaluating players in positions. Saban is smart enough to never care about the scoreboard, only about execution. And if our oline doesn't improve, I see a lot of executions happening. haha
 
Im not worried just yet but if our O blows in this game I will be. Im not worried about our D at all, they looked GREAT against Pittsburghs first string, its the O thats gonna hurt us this year.
 
It will show some of the mental toughness of the offensive players if they can rebound from this game and be successful.
 
They should know almost all the cuts by now with a few exception. They've had mini camp and training camp for that. It's time to start looking like a more cohesive unit with a small game plan and then the last game a little more game planning to prepare for week one. Lets look like a team dudes!!!!
 
....it is no mystery in my opinion. Our season will live and die by the O-line. You are right. This game says a lot.

I don't know about how much weaker TB is than the Jags, but I also think you are totally wrong about this game...If you remember last preseason, we looked pretty good in the 3rd game..the first string O scored twice and the D held fine....

Besides...there has been so much moving of guys that there just hasn't been much continuity...moreso on O, but even in the secondary...While there has been improvement in the D from the beginning, there has not been much improvement in the O...particularly the WRs (dropsies) and the OL...The QBs may or may not have gotten better, can't tell with the OL play in this last game.

The first qtr of the last preseason game should give us a better idea than this game, IMO....This game is for the O to establish something and the D to continue it's improvement...
 
This is a HUGE game for us. We need something positive to build on going into the season, and this is the game to start building. Our first home pre-season game, and there's tons of tension building up in the media, and among the fan base down here right now. Make no mistake, this game is HUGE....

The only thing I'm watching this weekend is the OL, and how it plays. Will the ground game open up??? And will the QB's have time to make smart / accurate decisions in the midst of the pass rush???...

Those are the only two things I really care about right now. The defense, regardless if they show or not, looks solid enough from what I've seen this far. It's all OL from here on out!!!....

Every year all teams treat the 3rd week of preseason as the most important not the 4th week. In week 3 they game plan, play starters into the 3rd quarter, etc. This one is by far the most important to any team. The 4th week is just for keeping sharp and avoiding injuries for any team.
 
I expect to see a much improved team. I expect them to be flying around now that saban and tear a strip off them in private without the whole world seeing it. We may not see the whole playbook... but we'll see the playbook for sure.
 
when is the next game i dont have a schedule and is the tampa game the last pre season game or is there another game after tampa ?
