They don't seem to really be in support of McCoy. To me it looks like those "arguments" are in support of being an objective, level headed person capable of rational thought, if anything. The bottom line is that every single person I have seen pissing and moaning about any of the potential hires is doing so with very little or very flawed knowledge. That works both ways, too, because a lot of the people advocating any one of the coaches is doing so with little and/or flawed evidence, too. It's dumb on both sides, plain and simple.

-Philbin does not guarantee Flynn and a high powered offense.
-McCoy does not guarantee a "Foxball" offense
-Zimmer would not have guaranteed a good defense
-Bowles would not guarantee a good defense

None of them guarantee anything. You can have your favorite, but just because McCoy's offense looked a certain way this past season does not mean that's how it would be in the future. Just because the Packers put up a ton of points does not mean Philbin would come in and the Dolphins would suddenly start lighting up scoreboards across the league. People need to think a bit more thoroughly than they are.
