This past weekend, we lost a Dolfan...

So sorry about your loss. My father passed away several years ago and he was a hugh football fan. I remember posting about his passing on this board and it is times like this when we all stop arguing with each other and come together as one. You seem like a very strong young man. Hang in there cause you're not alone.

I have to say, thank you all for these wonderful comments. It amazes me how much a board can come together for a member, like everyone did here
 
Thats a very touching story, such great fight against the odds, thats the type of person that america can stand behind and what we stand for. I hope that the Dolphins can give him a great season. I'm sorry for your loss and I appreciate the fight your father gave, god bless his soul, you and your family.

so sorry for your loss it hurts i lost my dad march 19th 2010 he was 59 everyday is tough have strong ties with god and he will guide you like he does me

Just saw this thread and wanted to quickly send you my condolences . I lost my father about 7 years ago. He was 48 and lost him to a heartache. It was the most grueling time of my life, but we have made it somehow and so will you. I will pray for you and your family for strength.
 
Traptses and family...

My thoughts and prayers are going out to you and your family. I know all too well the pain of such a loss, as I lost my father at the end of this year. Not unlike your father, he was one of my best friends and a Dolfan, not just my dad. I know you will miss him but we have to believe that he's in a better place now, still watching over you...He won't have to worry about the arthritis or cancer any longer. Keep your thoughts cheerful and remember that relationship you enjoyed with him...

There are never accurate enough words to correctly do justice in a time like this, but there are many people here as you can see that are sorry for your loss and will have you, your family and especially your father in their thoughts and prayers, me included. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to be part of remembering not just a fellow Miami Dolphin's fan, but more importantly, a very important person in your life.
