This past weekend, we lost a Dolfan...

So sorry for your loss. Remember, our fathers live on in our thoughts, words and above all else, our actions.

Great, but sad story bro. I felt your pain as I was reading. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Take Care!!

I didn't know your dad so I went back and read some of his posts. I've quoted his last post, on March 13 at 4:52pm in response to a thread which the thread starter said he predicted from Marshalls pro bowl comments that he was looking to be traded,

"Pure Genius, yea hindsight's like that after you watch a guy inplode in 3 seperate games and occassionally give up on routes and All those dropped passes....had nothing to do with the scrubs throwing the balls. "

That seems like a good overview of what Marshall brought to Miami, a lot of talent and a lot of underachievement. That along with other comments following the Dallas loss indicating people that believed in Sparano and Moore are in a fog kind of makes me think that he thought like I do and he knew the Dolphins pretty well. Anyway, your dad's decisions early on may have led to him to being dealt a tough hand. I have to believe the way he turned his back on alcohol was with Christ Gods help and so I hope he saw the light of salvation and is surrounded by it now.

My brother just went through many weeks of lung cancer treatments and they say he came through it very well. The treatments, they say were successful but, we still need to wait for the next series of testing in three months. God bless your family and hope they find a cure for this stuff.

Sorry for you loss man. 47 is way way to young for someone to pass.
