I'll be more comfortable making a general assessment when we're on a bye week. It's funny to hear people say Tannehill isn't making any strides or "progressing" after a loss to a very tough defensive team. Look at his last year stats, then look at his rookie year. The numbers absolutely do show progression. 3rd year is the big one. I do see a lot of posts that say this is a "make or break" year for Tannehill and I do agree with that. If you don't get it by year 3, then you probably never will. But writing off a QB after 2 games seems a bit strange, especially after beating the "super bowl bound" patriots (According to quite a few NFL analysts.) I think Tannehill does have the tools on offense, does have the defense to take pressure off of him, and will get his deep ball timing down soon. If you noticed, we practically abandoned the run after Moreno went down, passes were off target/dropped, defense didn't get any pressure, a punt was blocked, a punt was muffed, we created 0 turnovers, etc. .
That's not "all" Tannehill's fault. Team loss today.
